Burger A1 was good- Philly was huge and good. Price a lil high for lunch i spent 33. With tip. 2 sandwiches 1 fry 1 drink. Only one other couple in restaurant - fries were served barely warm n undercooked.

Definitely a little go to place down there in Douglas Kansas... The lady who owns it Jennifer is a wonderful person you can tell she got a good heart which makes for good food... And let me tell you the desert I had never heard of it in my life.. that boy was that waffle bubble delicious...Vegetarian options: I'm sure you could get a burger I think without a hamburger if you just wanted veggies...Dietary restrictions: Food is off the chart good ?Parking: You have to pay very close attention to the sign out front on highway 77 or you'll drive right by it like I did... And then you go to the back of the old nursing home...?Kid-friendliness: Deathly kid friendliness she's got video games and TVs all over the place...?Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible as well with a paved sidewalk...?

If you like Food as it Should Be (not pre-processed burger patties on Stale Nasty Buns - But Real Meat from a Real COW) - and Amazing Humans ... This is your place!!! The Buttery Steakhouse Burger is soo good it should be Outlawed! Their Butterfinger Shakes haunt my Dreams at night - yes, they're that good! And don't get me started on the Barria Tacos ~ We make our weekly dinner plans around which night we're texting our order for carryout!

This a hidden Gem out in Douglas Ks that is definitely worth the trip. Now, mind you, if you're not paying attention, you might just drive by it because they converted a senior citizen home kitchen into a restaurant...sounds crazy but it works. The hamburgers are delicious, and the staff is more like family to the locals... well, to everyone, really. Will definitely be going back so many burgers to choose from Slap yo Momma to the Will Roger's, I want to try them all.

Stopped in for the country fried steak dinner special on Tuesday. The service was great.
Really tasty food in a small town diner. There is a lot of variety and they do daily specials, which is great for a town with only a handful of restaurants. Burgers are great, as are the loaded fries. The various ice cream/desserts I have tried have all been excellent and very reasonably priced.Note on the parking/entrance for non-locals: Park and enter on the back side of the building, opposite side of the highway.Parking: Park in back of the building, opposite side of the highway.

I got the jalapeño bomb burger. The flavor was great, however, the buns didn't meet expectations. Plain basic buns, low quality and was soggy. Good curly fries. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and he thought the meat was dried and they could add more cheese. Overall, we enjoy this small restaurant in Douglass and it was worth the visit. Would definitely come again.
