Today, we discovered a hidden gem. The venue is very nicely arranged, simple decor but looks so nice.The employees, owner included, are fantastic people, the hamburgers are delicious, the hand cut fries were great.Even though we didn't leave any appetite for dessert, we couldn't resist the HOMEMADE ice cream. Betty's is a cute little restaurant. My mom and I love the decor and how they've renovated the building. She likes the hamburgers and I love their chicken fingers. They're pounded out flatter and wider, so it's almost a chicken cutlet. They're delicious. I also love the chocolate cream pies. We tried the pistachio ice cream once and didn't like it (just not hitting our palate right, but could be great on yours). I also felt it had a fatty mouth feel that I didn't like. I am currently in the middle of eating one of the best burgers I have ever had! It's called the Black Knight and it's the signature burger at Betty's. I cant say enough good things about this food. Homemade ice cream and desserts too! My wife and I both ate for $20 and had food to take home. We live an hour away and will be making the occasional trip to Betty's to do this again. Also worth noting, the amazing "small town" service and atmosphere makes this place a new favorite!
