We finally had a chance to try The Smoking Barrel! We have been talking about needing to since before they opened. This year we decided to try them for our company Christmas party. We order several slabs of ribs and brisket, we aren’t into spicy, so we decided to make our own cheesy potatoes and beans. The meat was absolutely delicious! We brought the left overs home and our family has been feasting on it the past few days, and some of them say it’s even better left over....
Not only was this the best BBQ I have ever had from any restaurant, the sides were amazing also. We tried 3 meats, 3 sides, and the apple crisp. The biscuits are perfection, and they had fresh local honey for them. Make sure to get the jalapeño popper Mac n cheese!
Excellent bbq. Could smell it as soon as we stepped out of the vehicle. Unfortunately we had to set some aside to try the deserts, and was not disappointed. Can't wait for the left overs tonight. Excellent choice of bbq sauces as well. Kids menue was spot on.
