Subway in Emporia

“After being refused service at the Jimmy John’s down the street, we decided to try Subway even though it would be the third Subway lunch this trip. We rolled up with 20 college athletes, 2 coaches and a driver and were greeted as they got right to work making our orders. No complaining, no scowls, no refusing our business like Jimmy John’s.
They were fast and professional and had all our food made in short order. Even customers who came in after us did not have to wait long to be served.
Way to go Subway, thanks for your hospitality!!“

“The sandwich was ok, not good. I hate saying that about Subway because it's one of my go-to places when I travel. At the one in Emporia Kansas, I had a not so good sandwich. The meat was ok, but the vegetables tasted like they had gone bad. I usually don't get a dressing on my sandwiches so I can taste the vegetables. The service was good. The building was so cold I had to take my food to go. I have eaten here before and it was good. Hopefully, this was a one-off experience.“
