The server was very nice and tried hard to provide a good experience. The food was just not up there to match. The cheesesteak sandwich was spare on beef, greasy, small. The fries seemed homemade, which can be good. But these were not. Sorry, I liked the weathered look, the country feel, the great service but the meal I had was not one I would return for.

Had Chicken fried steak with Mashed potatoes and corn. Everything was delicious and service was outstanding. I strongly recommend a honey bun with Ice-cream for dessert !

I bought plastered chicken. My chicken is burnt on one end. I have gone to Aunt Toadies once before and had the same thing, it was amazing. Tonight, I ordered take out and the chicken is burnt.

Sometimes, you just find these places off the beaten path and they turn out be be real gems. Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere was relaxing. But do not be in a rush. Food is made fresh so it takes a bit longer, but we'll worth the wait. Especially the fried chicken ?.
