“I love this diner. The decor is a bit dated but very homey and clean, the food is great and the desserts are fantastic. Waitstaff are friendly and stay on top of service. I stop in every time I am going through Ft. Scott when they are open. Chargrilled burgers, yum. Best coconut cream pie, EVER.Parking: Parking in front and at least 1 side, gravel lot.Wheelchair accessibility: No sidewalks, gravel on lot but accessible, I'd say.”

“Food from a food truck just tastes better! Taco Azul is no exception. The two costra meal with corn is my go to. For a cost that comparable to or better than any fast food place you’re getting good, fresh, delicious, much cleaner food that’s prepared while you wait for it. Get some Taco Azul, you’ll be so glad you did.”

“We ate out in Fort Scott for two days and this was definitely the best place! Their burgers were Angus beef and piping hot with veggies. Their twirly fries and onion rings were crispy and terrific. The service was helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was fun (diner stools, booths and tables- loved the selection) and had great music! My only suggestion is to check the seat in your booth seat nearest the diner stools ?. If you are in Fort Scott be sure to check this place out. ???”

“This is a hidden gem here in Fort Scott, the sesame chicken is fried to perfection while keeping the chicken juicy and tender. The fried rice is one of my favorites, I don't like a lot of salt in my rice and they've found the perfect balance here, Crab Rangoon were freshly made as well unlike a lot of places that have them sitting around waiting for the consumer to come in. Definitely my new favorite spot and will be coming back again as long as I am in town!”

“Great food! They messed up my order. Apparently, you need to make sure they know if you're getting a sandwich or a salad. Because there is a blackened avocado salad and a sandwich. I also never got my appetizer that I had ordered.”

“Slow service this day. Wasn't crowded, just slow. Seemed understaffed. Register person was also helping with cooking it appeared. Had to stand at counter for a couple minutes waiting to order. Again, only one there.”

“We had the rack of ribs, which were fantastic. They had great flavor, meat stayed on the bone, very tender. The crab patties weren't our favorite, a little too fishy. The baked beans were an excellent side dish. The waitress seemed very new, however, was very pleasant and accommodating. There were several gluten free options. Brick Street BBQ is located in a very beautiful brick building with enormous windows. I feel the meal was a great value. Not over priced.Dietary restrictions: We were dining with someone who needs to restrict gluten from her diet. There were many options for her.”

“I ordered a catering platter of just toppings for a birthday party and Desiree did a fabulous job at making it. It was ready at pick up for the time scheduled. I will be doing this again in the future. Thank you, Desiree.”

“So this 5 start review comes with a big caveat: your sandwich is mostly meat. Now some people love this, I rather a more balanced distribution so it's like 1/4" meat, 2-3 slices cheese, 1/4" veggies and fixings. This sando is like 3/4" meat, literally one thin slice of cheese, little bit of veggies. Not my style, but undeniably well made. Staff was excellent, everyone seems happy to work there too.I think the menu is really silly. It sounds just be a build your own format but instead they list a crazy number of individual combinations followed by "if there is a combination not listed just ask." Same with the special of the day section, which says you can choose any day special... It's a combo menu, it's not a special of the day. That's just silly stuff though, kinda adds a small town charm I suppose.”
