Restaurants in Fort Scott

“Marshas has always had the best sandwiches in town! The staff is always friendly and portions are big. Ingredients are consistently fresh, and it's always very clean and tidy. My family loves going in to eat due to its nice atmosphere and it's also very convenient for carry out orders or events where you have a lot of people to feed. So glad our town has this gem!”

“Had a wonderful dinner at Crooners. Service and food was exceptional. Highly recommend!”

“First time here. Watched the Chiefs game. Was incredible atmosphere. Waitresses were great, food was great, and out really fast. Very happy with my experience!”

“I enjoyed the fried chicken and onion rings when we were there. I’d easily say it’s the best fried chicken in town. They know how to season their food and aren’t afraid to make it taste good.”

“My current favorite is the cauliflower crust cheesesticks. And pepperoni pizza, chicken bacon ranch pizza, spaghetti... well everything on the menu!!!”

“Pittsburgh,ks...Pay attention to the orders and the customers, my fiance came there to order a large cashew chicken and a general chicken.. the general chicken was supposed to be sweet with NO PEPPERS, when she returned home it had cut up peppers in the sauce and VERY spicy ! Not to mention when my girlfriend started ordering, the girl simply walked away to take a sign of the door and deliver an order outside and ignored her.. When I called to explain what happened I was put on hold for 15 minutes and had to call back, only to be told there was nothing she could do unless I drove 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back to Columbus where we live... I have ordered this before there and it was sweet and delicious....SOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! OVER $9.00 FOR AN ORDER I CANT EVEN EAT !!!”

“Husband absolutely LOVES the "Hot mess"! they were quick to prepare our food and it tasted amazing”

“Desiree at the Fort Scott Subway is literally the best sandwich maker ever! My family loves coming in on Sundays after church, and even with our party of six, she always provides excellent service.

Today, I really felt like I needed to make sure her hard work was noticed. Desiree was the only employee working in the entire restaurant. There was nobody else there to help her. She had more than eight people standing in line, two other large parties sitting and eating in the restaurant, and online orders coming in, all by herself.

She stayed calm, professional, and incredibly friendly through it all. She communicated with everyone, made sure people knew she hadn’t forgotten them, and kept everything moving. She immediately recognized that my order was an online order and got it taken care of so she could focus on the customers waiting in line.

I know it has to be incredibly difficult to balance that many customers at once, especially during a Sunday lunch rush when everyone from church seems to show up at the same time 😂. But Desiree persevered, kept a great attitude, and made sure everyone was taken care of.

**She absolutely deserves to be recognized for her hard work and honestly, she deserves a raise!** Employees who can handle that kind of pressure completely on their own while still providing excellent customer service are worth recognizing.

Thank you, Desiree, for always taking such good care of our family! ❤”

“So glad we now have a Arby’s! For fast food, in my opinion it’s the best. It’s new and it’s clean! Please keep it that way. Don’t become like the other restaurants in town as far as cleanliness and good service.”

“Enjoyed the food, the waitress was the best. And the building is beautiful”
