Sh was good, but I got a dog instead of crab because they thought I was Chinese.

We were there this past weekend for the Christmas celebration. This was our first time there and we had an amazing time. Rob was awesome and a great server. We felt right at home. The food was so good. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. All were amazing. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in or nearby Fort Scott.

This is the best spot in in the area for food at a high level. The beef tips were the best!

Came here specifically for our 5th anniversary, as we were told how great it was. Left a voicemail for a reservation and got a call back about 22 hours later. Caller wasn’t friendly but reservation secured. Arrived and the bartender was not welcoming. We were seated quickly but took us about 10 minutes to get our menu, another 10 minutes to get a drink order in, another 10 minutes to get the drinks, and another 10 minutes to order. Husband said it was like a French restaurant - ever the optimist. The waitress was friendly but not attentive. She spent much more time with the table of ~12 next to us. She was accommodating of my food allergies which we appreciated! Appetizer came out about 65 minutes after arrival. Then salads, then entrees. Oysters were good. Salads were good. Lasagne was great. Husband’s alfredo sauce tasted like raw flour but the steak tips were cooked well for him. Huge portions. Waitress never came back to check on us until checkout. *Currently trying to travel back home with my husband the next day, with suspected foodborne illness. :( I was up several times in the night and several times this morning and afternoon. Maybe get the baked oysters, if you go. We come to Fort Scott quite a bit but I think we will pass on Crooners in the future.

Excellent food - the shrimp cocktail and steak tips are phenomenal.Order the loaded mashed potatoes as a side.Their happy hour is great with $5 martinis and we always have the best time interacting with the staff. They’re so fun and amazing.A local gem.

Wow! Such an incredible dinner. Service was amazing. I would seriously recommend their cocktails - blueberry smash and lemon droop were unmatched. Crab cakes make an excellent choice for an appetizer. Their Parmesan chicken was just perfect. It really doesn’t get any better!

Wonderful meal! Great oysters, very nice (and large) salads, baked halibut, and seafood ravioli. Service was superb and presentation was very nice. The dining room was busy on a Thursday night which provided a convivial atmosphere but didn't seem to adversely impact service. One of the other parties was celebrating a birthday and a gorgeous house-made chocolate cake made me wish it was my birthday, too. This was our third visit to Crooner's and we will absolutely be returning.

Surprising retreat in a small town. We had the fish of the day (halibut) with Brussels sprouts. Delish! The artwork around the place was a nice touch too.
