We had dinner at Luthers on Sat evening, It was early and not busy. The food was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. We were seated over 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. We started with an order of the onion lassos. Which would have been really good if they were served hot, by the time they were brought to our table they were barely warm. The BBQ was good but I could have used more sauce as there was hardly any on my brisket. Our waitress was never close to our table to ask until we were done eating. It's decent BBQ & I would give it another try & hope for better service.

Food was good. Service was okay. Hostess sat us right away, didn’t seem to happy about working. She came back and got drinks. Waitress asked us right away to order. Eager to get us our food. Food came out but girl didn’t give us utensils. I had to get up to ask for the utensils. Server came back to give us water then ticket. Would love to come back but the whole attitude of service seemed down. Not a lot of friendliness!

This is my first time eating at Luther’s, and it was so so good. Lisa was our server, and she was incredible. Wonderful, bright and uplifting personality, patient with me while I was trying to figure out my order, accommodating, helpful, just overall a great human being. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pretty good, lots of TVs around and some decent music, cool tables, interesting things on the walls including a huge cow. I highly recommend the Onion Lassos if that’s what they were called. So good. We will be going back!

Sorry I didn't take any pictures the presentation of my BBQ ribs and burnt-ends was above par. The atmosphere of the old down town building was clean and crisp. The wait staff was attentive. But the star of the show was the Brussel sprouts I suggest you give them a try, when you visit.

Yummy! We ate outside with our family of 8. It was Sunday afternoon. We loved the food and Kylie was very knowledgeable and had a great smile. The Burnt ends were great. Loved the Cityslicker. Would order the tacos again. The onion lassos were delicious. All 8 of us ordered different meals and we were all happy with the meals. Very good!!!

Doing it right at Luther's. It was delicious. We had Luther's Plate. Brisket was tender and juicy and the burnt ends were perfect. Coleslaw, beans and fries were all very good and topped off the meal nicely. Great atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when we're in Ft. Scott.

Smoked chicken was some of the most smokiest delicious meat. Great ambiance in old building. Outdoor seating available. Would have been better if could choose any meat for a one-meat plate instead of just brisket. Long wait for lunch.

Oh my goodness. This place is a gem for Fort Scott. This is my third time eating here and the food is always great, good & friendly service. I ordered the quesadilla with pulled pork and it was phenomenal and enough for 2 meals. My husband ordered the Sloppy Luther and fries. Talk about getting your money's worth. The meat was piled high on the bun with cheddar cheese and onion straws. Both meals were delicious and had plenty for a second meal. Great flavor and quality. Luther know his BBQ.

The Carolina Dog was the best hot dog I've ever had. It didn't last long enough for a picture. The slaw, the pulled pork, the hot dog - all of it.

Great food and service. The beer was cold (unfortunately not the gin Martini) and the food was fresh and meats very good. Don't leave without trying their beef marshmallows- best burnt ends I've had. Didn't even need sauce with the sausages and burnt ends. Good service. Very unexpected find in Fort Scott.

The burnt ends are even better than they advertise them to be. We had great service and the building is very historic. Everything we ordered was great, including brisket, ends, and polled pork. The potato salad was great; the baked beans were a little sweet for me. I recommend the place for good BBQ.

Omg the burnt ends are AMAZING! The texture and flavor had me clean my plate (and maybe my husbands plate as well)! The ribs were flavorful and I washed it all down with a Boulevard. Great times with great family!

Wow. Luther's was awesome! This is a must stop in Fort Scott. Good selection of beer, the bbq tacos were incredible. I had them with pulled pork, homemade tortillas, the sauce was a little spicy but so good. And this Mac and Cheese. Let me tell you I am something of a Mac and cheese connoisseur and this stuff ranks high! Husband had burnt ends and the potato salad - "this is how potato salad is supposed to taste." The table shared deviled eggs and brussel sprouts as apps which were also great. Again, highly recommend.

Stopped in for lunch. Was greeted by a friendly host and sat right away. Tried their pulled pork sandwich and fries. Was delicious!

My husband and I has a wonderful lunch there recently. I ordered a house salad with large croutons and pork belly bits with some barbecue brisket added. It was large, fresh and tasty. My spouse loved his sandwich and onion rings. The dining space is very airy and bright with large windows and a combination of booth and table seating. Its location downtown near stores and historic Fort Scott is also a plus! We had a chance to meet the owner who is definitely hands on. Can't wait to come back.
