Had heard good things about this place in Frontenac Kansas, their main food options is for German fried chicken, slaw and potato salad but they also have steaks etc. I went with a couple who hadn’t been there before so we were eager to try it. Went back after 20 years. Our waitress has been there 32 years.
The chicken and chicken livers are amazing. It crunchy and crispy and freshly cooked to order.
I highly recommend Bartos.

We have not been to Barton’s in over 20 years. Nothing has changed. Same decor, GREAT fried chicle and chicken livers. The chicken is more like extra crispy not original recipe KFC. It’s really good and moist. Our waitress has been there for 32 years and her mom was waitress for 52 years. Barton’s has been there since 1951. I highly recommend Bartos. Much better than the other chicken houses, in my opinion.
