I used to run a restaurant in Oklahoma with my cousin that was open for 25 years. We made everything from scratch, even got in the newspapers and the news often. This place comes close, I was so happy we stopped there!

.....We were in Pittsburg Kansas for the FUNNY CAR choas drag race at nearby Mo-Kan Dragway and staying just down the road at very nice door parking Regency Inn motel and the Farm House appeared THE place to eat. Warning, the MENU is never ending with many varibles. B-L-D.. First experience was for dinner. I had a 4pc fried chicken meal with hand cut potato wedges and American cole slaw while my wife ordered the big steak burger with grilled onions, baked potato and German cole slaw. Our meals were expertly prepared and served by Trinity. Servings are huge and everything was very yummy. On Sunday after checking out of the Regency Inn we returned for breakfast to find the huge parking lot near full. Ordered 2-eggs, 2-bacon, 2-sausage links and 2 pancakes that were prepared perfectly. The Farm House Cafe is exactly the kind of place we hope to find while traveling the scenic back roads in pursuit of curiosities. The menu had great variety and many specials. Many regulars eating, but also first-timers like myself. The atmosphere was ‘homey’. I enjoyed the fun signs around the restaurant. My salad was very fresh and I chose a cinnamon roll for dessert. The vintage bottled drinks drew me in too. #lovelocal

It was not what I expected. The steak was frozen and pre breaded not fresh . I eat alot of pork tenderloin because it is fresh breaded . The green beans were bland . Service was 2 out of my 3 vote .

My grandmother lived here until 1944. I've never been here on my own. So this is the only place I've ever ordered food from here. I'm gonna say my grandmother sent me. The food was great, and so was the service. Should I ever make it through here again. I'll definitely be stopping in.

Good selection of food. Quick and friendly service. Definitely frequented by many locals and visitors alike. A true hometown favorite - you can definitely tell. It has the quaint local charm to it. Prices were good and service was excellent.

We Love Love this place, Great Breakfast, Hand cut RibEye and Eggs is totally Wonderful - the Coffee is Amazing !!The ppl are nice, I would eat here first before any other place in pitt !!
They always run a breakfast special at a min price & it's good. The coffee is really really good & they also serve real cream for the coffee and the service is excellent !

We had the biscuits and gravy. No meat in the gravy so it was a little disappointing but it was good enough that I think we will go back and try something else.
