This place is really cute, I love a good small town diner. The staff were very friendly. We ate here twice and had 2 different experiences. The first time we went for breakfast and everything was very good. The second time we went for lunch. I ordered a Reuben and it was terrible. I’m hoping it was just an “off” day.
Very cozy little restaurant. Fresh made from scratch biscuits to go with an amazing sausage gravy was my favorite!! Food is nice portioned for the cost, lower costs than most breakfast places and a very nice atmosphere. Definite glad we stopped in after living in neighboring Carl Junction for 2 years. Will be back as much as time allows!!
We stopped in for breakfast and were very glad we did. My wife ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and was amazed at the amount of food for the price. The fluffy and buttery biscuits were covered by a creamy, white, and flavorful sausage gravy. I ordered the Country Fried Steak Skillet. The steak had a coating that was still crunchy when covered by the sausage gravy. The shredded hash browns were cooked to perfection, as were the sunny side eggs that were runny and creamy.
