“We love it here! So much so we had our wedding reception here! Kid friendly too. Our granddaughter loves coming to play pool and the parades on main st. Never dull. Where everyone knows everyone...and if we don't know you we soon will. So many memorabilia hanging around from record albums, photos, route 66 stuff, Gravy's favorite longhorn bull, just tons to look at and figure out. And don't miss out on Sunday Chiefs games when we have big pot lucks. The music is great whether he shuts down 4th St for Torn or opens up Possum holler during concerts/parties. Just a fun, friendly experience.”

“The people over at Mac's are incredibly kind. The cinnamon rolls are massive, but still flavorful. When you think of a true homemade cinnamon roll, this is every bit of what you would dream of. Each flavor is spot on and delicious. From Apple Pie, to Peanutbutter brownie and then their newly created Tiramisu roll is just flawless. This place will have your taste buds dancing.”

“Red Onion Cafe has done an amazing job of making the situation of my wife's knee replacement surgery and overnight hospital confinement a much easier experience. The wonderful staff has gone above and beyond to provide food, not only for my wife's in room meals, but those of mine and my daughter. The food was delicious, every Red Onion employee was extremely helpful, and Red Onion's presence had a positive effect on the entire atmosphere of the hospital.
Every employee I dealt with put forth extra effort to make certain I was well cared for. When I ordered my first meals I was given a coupon for a discount on my next order and had had difficulty applying the coupon code in my phone app when ordering the evening meals. My cashier went to great lengths to make certain that the discount was applied when I completed the purchase. After returning to my wife's room where her evening meal had already been brought to her, I was giving my daughter her part of the food and the employee who had taken my order knocked on the door with some more of my food that I had inadvertently left behind in the Cafe. I am tremendously grateful to Red Onion for their excellent service and I really appreciate all they did for us.”

“I had the best latte and coffee I've had in ages! I am constrained to drink decaf and the owner was so accommodating he pulled the decaf shots until he was satisfied with the taste. I had the house favorite, Sweet and Salty, decaf with oat milk and sugar free. My husband had a Snickers and pronounced it excellent as well. The owner was very welcoming. We had great conversation while waiting for our drinks. And probably the most bottles of syrups I have ever seen in one location...sugar free counterparts for nearly every choice.
The ambiance was welcoming, child friendly and perfect for spending time sipping our brews. A definite 5⭐️ experience. We'll e loyal customers every time we visit Joplin. It's worth the drive.”

“Just stopped by as we were driving through headed back towards Tulsa. Wow, best espresso I've had in a very long time and I am SUPER picky. My husband had an Americano as well and also said it was the best he's had. Besides the amazing espressos we also had a cinnamon roll, chocolate croissants and chocolate chip cookies that all are amazing. Lastly, and best of all, was the service. I am so particular about how I like my drinks and the sweet lady helping me took it in stride with my 50 questions and was SO helpful. It felt great to experience such great customer service. We will be back every time we drive through. Thank you for such a great experience!!”
