“My husband and I ate there for my 40th birthday. We both had a steak. It was absolutely phenomenal- best steak we have ever had. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious as well. The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxing, we had a great time.”

“My partner and I have become regulars at this establishment, and while it is a chain - we agree that this is the best steak of the other major chains in the area. (Texas Roadhouse, Logan's, Outback). The food is consistent, the service is always great. I can tell the workers really value providing good service, even if it is to hope for a good tip. I'm almost always offered ways to make the experience better, such as our last visit when our waiter brought a little dish of garlic butter and lemon wedges for our broccoli. He says this is how he loves to eat it and it was delicious! Brought us to-go drinks, containers for our sauces, and an extra loaf of bread to take with us as my son was LOVING it.

It is a little pricier than their competitors, but my family agrees that it is worth the minimal price difference. They do have a smaller menu than most, but I believe they have perfected the items they do have!

10/10 recommend the wings off the appetizer section of the menu. Best wings in Joplin!

Kid-friendliness: My partner and I have been regularly visiting this establishment since I was early in my pregnancy with my 1 year old. I have brought him every visit since he was born and have always felt well accommodated for him. On busier nights, it is actually fairly noisy enough to reduce disruptions to other tables by him getting too excited. Staff have never made me feel bad about having him, if anything I've been offered additional options to help accommodate him more.”

“We're from back east so we are use to shrimp cooked with old bay, this shrimp was not, it didn't have much flavor. The rest of the meal with good. Our waitress was wonderful, the man who sat us was hilarious, lots of jokes! Overall, a great place!”

“I’m partial on this place because I didn’t find a beer I totally liked that would bring me back for another. Everyone is different, so try it out and if you find a beer/sour you like then you’ll go back. The only draw back I experienced was the awful smell of hops in the space. They need to enclose the tanks and leave the stench in that room.”

My meal was on the table in around 5 minutes. Very good flavor, fresh avocado on top in chunks gave the flatbread a fresh burst of flavor. The atmosphere was quiet, and I sat watching Rangeline traffic, enjoying my lunch! I do have to say, it was very pricey for lunch...$17.59 for flatbread and drink.”

“I was in town with my husband and kids. we chose this restaurant due to the amazing reviews and thought it would be kid friendly. Unfortunately we had a HORRIBLE experience due to the shift lead/manager on duty. First our meals all came out at different times. The two kids meals came out after we had ordered 15+ min, then 15+ min later mine, and then 10+ min after that my husband's and other daughter's was how we finally all got food. I will say the rest of my family was pleased with their food. they said it was hot and tasty. However, my burger came out cold. the bun seemed like it had just been pulled out of the fridge, my burger cold and hard, cheese unmelted, and the cast iron dish it came in was room temp. When the worker came to bring my husband and daughter's food I did complain because it was inedible. This person (she claimed.to be the shift lead/manager on duty) immediately got defense that there was no way it was cold, it has been on the grill for 20 min. I told her it was (and with her attitude) I said I wanted a refund. She informed me that it was company policy they did not give refunds, and she could give me loyalty points. I told her I was from out of town and that would not help. At this point she wasn't just being defensive, she was also being just flat out rude and snotty telling me it wasn't her fault. She offered to make me some Mac n cheese instead, and I informed her that I was diabetic thus ordering the burger. I asked her to at least have it remade. She told me NO that it would be the same. I asked for a manager and she informed me she was the shift lead/manager on duty and the only one I could talk to. I asked for the corporate number and she told me they were not corporate. I then asked for the owner, and she said she couldn't give me the number. I admit at that point I was irate. She was defensive, rude, and just out right nasty to me. I want to know what happened to customer service. I have done good service, customer service, sales, and management most of my life. I have never been spoken to/treated so horribly by a restaurant worker none the less a "manager." I finally had enough and stated that if she would do nothing then I would call my bank and have our $70 charge reversed since I did not get actual edible food (this included a tip btw). She said fine and stomped off. I proceeded to contact my bank. In that time she must have called the owner or a manager above her because I heard her complaining about me to someone on the phone right behind me. She did get me a refund and came over and slammed it on the table next to me staying "here is your refund." She then turned and stomped off without another word to me. Needless to say I will NEVER go to a MacCheesey again ever no matter where I travel. They seem to not care about their customers or how the staff treats them if the owners allow such behavior from their employees and refuse to speak with customers.”

Will be returning again soon. Can't wait to eat the waffles and try the waffle burger. Just grabbed the burrito today, so I could take it with me and eat it on the go. Was in a hurry, walked in ordered, and was in and out in less then 5 mins. Lady even opened the door for me to leave. Lots of space in what looks like a small building. Plenty of sitting outside as well.

“Great joint to enjoy a chill lunch. The wings are well seasoned and juicy. My son had their Jumbo burger and fries while I sucked down 10 of the Hot Honey wings, and 5 of the traditional hot wings. We tried the Parmesan fried cheese curds, which were insanely tasty. Lots of TV's and all the sports you can stand. Price is a bit steep, but nonetheless the food made it worth it. If you like chicken, this is your place.”

“A little hard to find but such a gem! My little brother hates Indian food but he devoured the butter chicken. Best veg samosas I’ve ever had the pastry was perfect and it had a little kick. Butter chicken, chicken tika , chicken sagg, and naan were so yum and not spicy just flavorful. The owner was super nice and made sure to help us. Also highly rec the thumbs up coke.”

She never acknowledged our presence, although she made direct eye contact with me at least twice. When she was done washing that tray, she picked up another one and continued washing. We never even got so much as a "Be right with you". After about 5 minutes of standing there with repeated eye contact, it became obvious she had no interest at all in helping us, so we walked away and got some nuggets at Chick Fil A instead. 0/10 for Auntie Anne's.”

The buffet was struggling to keep food and plates out ready. There was this elderly couple sitting next to us who waited forever to get their pizza due to everyone worrying about the buffet. There was this worker that was completely rude with them and just had a rude attitude. She kind of threw their plates down at them. Highly disappointed. This is not the first time I have experienced service like this at this restaurant. I will not say I don’t recommend this place. The food is great. I will recommend that you go through drive through or get carry out. Inside service is absolutely terrible.”

“This is my absolute favorite subway in town! Kat and Tori (spelling) are always there and always so welcoming and friendly. My kids LOVE getting to see them make their sandwiches and they always refer to them as “sister” and sometimes remember the ingredients to their sandwiches. Today cat and Tori were even more awesome than normal. I assume making sandwiches is sometimes a thankless job, but I hope those two know their making four kiddos and me smile and they come up in conversation regularly strictly because they’re customer service is amazing! The other, is a picture of wonton chips, which I was given. We called to ask about the issue, and you said people eat them like chips. It doesn't say 'wonton chips' on the menu. It says "wontons." The cashew chicken I ordered was very well done ?. I will be a returning customer for that, I just won't be getting the wontons anymore ?. The crab Rangoons are phenomenal! “Ok to start, I am introverted and easily overstimulated by many close loud sounds, the host accommodated this and put me and my wife in the corner OPPOSITE EVERYONE and it wasn’t even busy!! I apologized for being inconvenient because I knew that now a server has to come all the way over to me every time, but the server (red hair) was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and made sure we had a good time, didn’t bother us too much but just enough, recommended good drinks, and the food was QUICK and AMAZING!!! “I got the Chicken Fajita roll-up, and it was okay. Nothing great about it that I can think of, it's very basic. The service is pretty typical and gets the job done. Food is kinda expensive at about $15-20 per meal, but they have specials all the time, so stick with those if you have an issue with cost. Overall, I'd say there are other places to think of going first, but Applebee's is not a bad option if you have to choose.”
