“I’m partial on this place because I didn’t find a beer I totally liked that would bring me back for another. Everyone is different, so try it out and if you find a beer/sour you like then you’ll go back. The only draw back I experienced was the awful smell of hops in the space. They need to enclose the tanks and leave the stench in that room.”

“Last night we drove for an hour to try this restaurant. It was worth the drive.

The manager help take my reservation over the phone.

When we arrived, the drinks I had preordered were to our table promptly.

We tried the Ahi Tuna Bruschetta and the Portobello Fries to start with. I don’t normally like tuna, but this appetizer was delicious! My wife and I split both equally, but I could have easily had those as my meal.

For dinner I chose the “fresh catch” which turned out to be grilled swordfish. My wife got the pecan encrusted chicken. Both were tasty, however, the swordfish stood on a different level compared to the chicken.

Everything we tried at Club 609 was phenomenal! When a delicious piece of chicken that was nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection is the “downside” of the night, I’d say the evening was a success.

The staff were kind and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming. Everyone in the club seemed to enjoy themselves.

We saw people there to watch sports, celebrate birthdays, catch up as friends, dine after a game, and some there for the drinks at happy hour. The space accommodated us all wonderfully.
Some places have the game on too loud, or you feel like the loud table next to you is talking in your ear. But Club 609’s high ceilings and open layout still seemed to allow everyone to feel comfortable, no matter why they were there.

“Stopped in at the Applebee's in Joplin for a nice lunch. The staff seated us promptly and within a short amount of time pur waiter arrived with the menus and quickly brought our water. We decided on the 2 for $25 deal. We both ordered house salad with the house made ranch dressing and my wife had the Fiesta Lume Chicken and I had the Four Cheese Mac n Cheese topped with Honey Peppered Chicken Tenders. The salad was served in ice cold bowls, plenty of dressing and was really good. Our meals were served hot and we both commented on how delicious they were. The chicken was cooked perfectly, my pasta was al dente giving it the perfect texture. Overall it was a nice dining experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the waiter, Cody, did an outstanding job.”

Some of the cookies do tend to taste like others, but every now and then when they have a special, they really hit it out of the park. I love the cinnamon Square and the strawberry shortcake.”

“everytime I come in for coffee, it is perfectly made. I recommended the greenhouse to my parents for some plant shopping and they were lucky enough to get to interact with Tyra. Tyra went out of her way to ensure they got exactly what they were looking for and answered all of their questions with flawless knowledge. we will go out of our way to use the greenhouse for our coffee and plant needs in the future.”

“I was in town with my husband and kids. we chose this restaurant due to the amazing reviews and thought it would be kid friendly. Unfortunately we had a HORRIBLE experience due to the shift lead/manager on duty. First our meals all came out at different times. The two kids meals came out after we had ordered 15+ min, then 15+ min later mine, and then 10+ min after that my husband's and other daughter's was how we finally all got food. I will say the rest of my family was pleased with their food. they said it was hot and tasty. However, my burger came out cold. the bun seemed like it had just been pulled out of the fridge, my burger cold and hard, cheese unmelted, and the cast iron dish it came in was room temp. When the worker came to bring my husband and daughter's food I did complain because it was inedible. This person (she claimed.to be the shift lead/manager on duty) immediately got defense that there was no way it was cold, it has been on the grill for 20 min. I told her it was (and with her attitude) I said I wanted a refund. She informed me that it was company policy they did not give refunds, and she could give me loyalty points. I told her I was from out of town and that would not help. At this point she wasn't just being defensive, she was also being just flat out rude and snotty telling me it wasn't her fault. She offered to make me some Mac n cheese instead, and I informed her that I was diabetic thus ordering the burger. I asked her to at least have it remade. She told me NO that it would be the same. I asked for a manager and she informed me she was the shift lead/manager on duty and the only one I could talk to. I asked for the corporate number and she told me they were not corporate. I then asked for the owner, and she said she couldn't give me the number. I admit at that point I was irate. She was defensive, rude, and just out right nasty to me. I want to know what happened to customer service. I have done good service, customer service, sales, and management most of my life. I have never been spoken to/treated so horribly by a restaurant worker none the less a "manager." I finally had enough and stated that if she would do nothing then I would call my bank and have our $70 charge reversed since I did not get actual edible food (this included a tip btw). She said fine and stomped off. I proceeded to contact my bank. In that time she must have called the owner or a manager above her because I heard her complaining about me to someone on the phone right behind me. She did get me a refund and came over and slammed it on the table next to me staying "here is your refund." She then turned and stomped off without another word to me. Needless to say I will NEVER go to a MacCheesey again ever no matter where I travel. They seem to not care about their customers or how the staff treats them if the owners allow such behavior from their employees and refuse to speak with customers.”

The special was 5 dollar chips and dip, we said sure and then she gave us a choice of 4 different dips. We chose spinach. It wasn't until we got the bill that we saw that Spinach was a 2 dollar up charge so that was a little shady.

I had the Southwest wrap. It was good.
My husband had the pimento bacon burger which he really enjoyed. They have crinkle fries and they were not underdone.

“Haven't eaten at Schlotzsky's in Years.... decided it's give lunch a try. Dined in at the North Rangeline location. Ordered the California artisan flatbread with a lemonade. My meal was on the table in around 5 minutes. Very good flavor, fresh avocado on top in chunks gave the flatbread a fresh burst of flavor. The atmosphere was quiet, and I sat watching Rangeline traffic, enjoying my lunch! I do have to say, it was very pricey for lunch...$17.59 for flatbread and drink.”

“Best bar in Joplin. They do allow smoking, but it’s a bar in Missouri. Beyond that, the people that are there are some of the best people I’ve ever met. The owner, Craig, is genuinely a nice guy. The bartenders are all awesome and actually care about people. I’ve met many of the “regulars” and have had great conversations (and shots) with many of them. Make sure you tell them ‘Chad in the van’ sent you. They’ll treat you like family.*Parking lot is horrible. Go slow.”

Was in a hurry, walked in ordered, and was in and out in less then 5 mins. Lady even opened the door for me to leave. Lots of space in what looks like a small building. “This is my absolute favorite subway in town! Kat and Tori (spelling) are always there and always so welcoming and friendly. My kids LOVE getting to see them make their sandwiches and they always refer to them as “sister” and sometimes remember the ingredients to their sandwiches. Today cat and Tori were even more awesome than normal. I assume making sandwiches is sometimes a thankless job, but I hope those two know their making four kiddos and me smile and they come up in conversation regularly strictly because they’re customer service is amazing! “Gambino’s is a pretty good place and I have eaten it multiple times. Today, the service completely sucked and the atmosphere was not great. The buffet was struggling to keep food and plates out ready. There was this elderly couple sitting next to us who waited forever to get their pizza due to everyone worrying about the buffet. There was this worker that was completely rude with them and just had a rude attitude. She kind of threw their plates down at them. Highly disappointed. This is not the first time I have experienced service like this at this restaurant. I will not say I don’t recommend this place. The food is great. I will recommend that you go through drive through or get carry out. Inside service is absolutely terrible.”

“Great joint to enjoy a chill lunch. The wings are well seasoned and juicy. My son had their Jumbo burger and fries while I sucked down 10 of the Hot Honey wings, and 5 of the traditional hot wings. We tried the Parmesan fried cheese curds, which were insanely tasty. Lots of TV's and all the sports you can stand. Price is a bit steep, but nonetheless the food made it worth it. If you like chicken, this is your place.”
