“3/10/26 BRENDA had a line down to the hotel check in. Everyone had big orders! She did NOT miss a beat!! This girl needs a raise and a extra help!!! BRENDA by far is a very hard worker. Its safe to say the whole line was amazed at how fast and accurate she was.”

“Very good! Definitely better than the nasty casino buffet. I had the blackened grilled chicken with pepper Jack cheese & bacon sandwich with a side of steamed broccoli and my husband had a 1/2 pound burger with bacon & ham with fries. Compliments to the chef! Broccoli was steamed perfect & the thick chicken breast was generously seasoned & so juicy! Burger was medium well as requested. Bacon was not under or over cooked. Good job! Definitely recommend.”

“The brunch buffet was good. You can also ask your server for french toast, pancakes or eggs (which are not on the buffet) and they are cooked fresh and brought to you. I did like that. Plenty of food to choose from on the buffet and the price was very fair. I do recommend this restaurant.”

“Recommended by a friend, I stopped in while driving back to Joplin. I chose a ham sandwich and they asked if it was okay if the fresh ham was still warm? Still warm?! Yes! Just wheat bread cheese lettuce and ham. I don't eat pie and there was fresh peach pie or cobbler? on the counter. I bought that too. The ham sandwich did not require condiments. I would have had just a plate of ham if I had known how good it was. I also ate the pie. It was so GOOD!”

“What a sweet family that run the restaurant. They and their staff are always considerate and attentive to your needs. I have food allergies and they’ve always cooked for me. Across the board comfort food with THE BEST salads. A Great Rt 66 place to stop for a break. Oh and don’t forget the homemade pies ….to die for! Back room for large groups too.”

“I never have a problem with the food. It’s the hygiene. Please do not go out and smoke and then come back in and handle food/drinks without washing. Also, the coughing in the hands…. Nope. We need to take it back to kindergarten and learn basic hygiene.”

Let's just say the atmosphere here was odd...The workers were not rude or impolite at all, but they all looked super bummed out. It was like they were all so freaking sad. We were only traveling and stopped in, so I'm not sure if something happened locally, but what a bummer. I really hope those folks have a better day soon. Like I said, the food and service was both good.”

“It's been a little bit since I went in but the ice cream was delicious and the chocolate waffle cone was tasty and crunchy as well. Very friendly people run this place and would recommend no matter the time of year or weather. Beware the cones are bigger than you might think. I couldn't finish my double scoop cone. 😋”
