“Spotted this place while passing through town at lunchtime so stopped in. Very unpretentious, nothing fancy looking, but man, what a great place! Very ample portions and very modest prices! You could tell most everyone there was a Local and a Regular, and they all seemed as happy as we were! I had the meatloaf dinner and it was excellent, just the way I like it! Real pleasant easy going folks working there, too! Definitely glad we stopped!”

“The cheese curds was like chewing soft leather, the bun on my cheeseburger was kind of chewy too. The chicken strips and fries were good and hot. The onion rings were hot and crunchy just the way I like them. I would visit again but not order the cheese curds or cheeseburger.”

They added just the right amount of sauce and veggies. They were super friendly. I live in Joplin but may start doing spark work down here just to come back here and get more sandwiches . “We stayed at Lee's Grand Lake Resort for the very first time last weekend. We went with skepticism due to some negative reviews we read, but at the end of our stay, not only Lee's Resort did not disappoint but exceeded our expectations. Our family to include our little boys thoroughly enjoyed ourselves throughout the stay. From the friendly staff and community members, to the cozy, clean and comfort cabin, and from the moment we checked in till check-out, we enjoyed every minute of it. “Slow as heck. Fry food. Please train severs on new drinks. They don't know how to make them. More training needed, PLEASE. Not the servers fault when it comes to them not being properly trained. That's on manager to make sure they know what they are doing. Sonic seems to just throw the newer workers in the middle of the pond. Then just lets them swim it out. Damn please be kind to them, for it is them being let down by their employer.”
