“Went for brunch with my best girlfriends on Sunday. First time here. Staff came outside to greet us and invited us in. We were greeted “good morning!”no less than 5 times before we even approached the register. Everyone in the kitchen was having a ball and the music was perfect to get us started for the day. Waitress who took our order was so sweet and kind while she explained the menu to us newbies. Chef brought out the food and helped us decide on a hot sauce. HOMEMADE AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - great way to top off an already awesome meal. The food was perfect and plated beautifully. “Friday July 11th; I drove right past the Carthage food truck Friday and headed for the best bite in town! Friendly staff, great burgers all wrapped up in a small old school building. When I left I also had to stop 1 block North and give the little girl selling lemonade a couple bucks!”

“The manager/GM sucks. But Really great food. 1st time we been there. Will go back. The bartender/manager was really nice. But taking shots at 1 30 pm on a Saturday.... Then was in the bathroom for over 40 minutes. Was still n there when we left.... My wife needed to use the restroom and the staff just said oh, just use the men's... Like this happens a lot... The main server guy disappeared as well .. Us and multiple tables were waiting n waiting. Crabby owners need to address this. Seems like a good person and up beat but at the end of the day drinking just past noon, working, and ppl leaving bc of poor service isn't a good recipe for a successful business. We will try it again bc we really did enjoy the food. Waitress was working her butt off. Hopefully management will next time as well. Otherwise John Taffer will be here in a bar rescue episode....”

“I had the best latte and coffee I've had in ages! I am constrained to drink decaf and the owner was so accommodating he pulled the decaf shots until he was satisfied with the taste. I had the house favorite, Sweet and Salty, decaf with oat milk and sugar free. My husband had a Snickers and pronounced it excellent as well. The owner was very welcoming. We had great conversation while waiting for our drinks. And probably the most bottles of syrups I have ever seen in one location...sugar free counterparts for nearly every choice.
The ambiance was welcoming, child friendly and perfect for spending time sipping our brews. A definite 5⭐️ experience. We'll e loyal customers every time we visit Joplin. It's worth the drive.”
