The food was absolutely delicious!! It was great being able to try a new type of food and experience something different. Was looking for a non-chain on a work trip and will definitely be back next time I’m in town! FYI, the food I ate was meant to be eaten with your hands so if you’ve never had East African food, just know that depending on what you order this might be the case

I was in town for business and looking for a unique restaurant that served ethnic food. Was excited to check it out. I got there, was the only one there. Someone sat me at a table and then didn't even come back to offer me a drink, see if I was ready to order or anything.. I waited for a while and not being busy no reason didn't come back to the table. So disappointed. So, I got up and walked out and went next door. Had a cool vibe but didn't get to eat since no one wanted to wait on me.

Very disappointing experience. Went there because yelp reviews said it was good. But it wasn't. But we tried something new. But I'll never go to that place again.
This place is a gem. The food used spices I didn't care for but was good. The portions was good for the price. The staff was hard to find at times but was friendly and attentive. I had questions about my food and meal and they shared and educated me. It could be a hang out for college or a place for informal get together. The atmosphere was well done.

We went on Thanksgiving Day and weee SO impressed! The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Our two year old loved the musical instruments and the owners were kind enough to encourage him to play them and dance on stage. The flavors of the food (and tea) were delicious. We will definitely return!

Unbelievable...an African restaurant in the cattle town of Garden City! Well, believe it because we ate there Saturday.Our two entrees were cooked to order then served on injera bread. The host showed us how to eat with our hands. Our food was incredibly tasty, hot and filling.Be sure to order the special coffee...it is a fitting end to time spent with family.Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegan, something that's hard to find in most restaurants, but she was totally satisfied with her veggie plate. Nearly half of the menu is meat free.Parking: We parked right in front of the restaurant, not wanting to mess with the main parking lot, which was full of pickups.
