I absolutely love this little diner. I never knew it was more than a "bar" . Now it's hard to stay away as I have loved trying new foods. Their Patty Melt is highly recommended or any of their burgers. definitely try it out!

We go here at least twice a month, and Trade Winds is always good. They have so many options that it's easy to find something for everyone. I tried the sirloin special most recently, and I've had steaks from restaurants much more expensive and taste only half as good. You're in good hands!

Trade Winds Bar and Grill in Garnett, KS, is a hidden gem, especially on Fried Chicken Night. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. The Patty Melt was also outstanding, with a great balance of juicy beef, melted cheese, and grilled onions on toasted bread. The cozy, small-town vibe and friendly service make it a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious, no-frills meal. Highly recommended!

Food is good but service has always been a little lackluster. Last time I go in personally because of a charge of 2.50 fries on top of the 11.49 for a dbl chz and had a captain and malibu and 3 other juices go for 7.50 a "drink" but my double captain and Pepsi was rang in as a total of $8 and listed out instead of the "drink". If you're a regular this place is great, as a new face or a not too common one not so much.

OMG...you defineately get your moneys worth. I got a double cheese burger and had to eat one patty off the bun they are so big. Tons of fries too. Wife got a hamburger steak and took half home. Will go again if I am out that way again.
