“Don't be fooled by the name, this is strictly American food only. I had a hamburger steak that was beautifully cooked. Had to ask for brown gravy, because that's how I eat it. There were only 2 other tables with customers, so service was great. Their French dressing that they call something else was wonderful too. I was traveling so didn't want a steak, as I would have wanted to sleep, but I bet their steaks are great. My burger was truly cooked to perfection, so the steaks must be out of this world.“

“This is hands-down the best Chinese food in Northwest Kansas. We travel to Goodland as often as we can just to eat here. The amazing couple who run this restaurant have built a true local institution over the last 30 years.
The food is always fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Anyone leaving a bad review is judging this place by its appearance instead of what truly matters — the incredible food and heart behind it. The interior isn’t “old and outdated”; it’s well-loved and filled with decades of history and care.
The hours may change, and they occasionally close for periods of time, but that’s simply part of life and aging. The locals are grateful every time they open their doors.
