Great restaurant, brought some of our student athletes from KC here and they all enjoyed it. Super friendly staff, food was great, no complaints from me! Owner seems like a nice guy too. He went the extra mile to help me when he didn’t need to!
Awesome food and fair prices for quality of food. Ribeye and catfish dinner was a little over $60, so definitely not upset. Food was cooked perfectly and served piping hot. Server was very polite and prompt. Even as restaurant was staying to get busy, our server still kept up and didn't leave us waiting. I highly recommend trying Cattlemans Cafe Hays.
This is a really good place to go if you want really good home cooking. It feels like Grandma is in the kitchen. We had the pot roast, chicken fried steak and the lemon chicken. Fantastic green beans. Good cole slaw. And the home made rolls are to die for. Love that they offer half order or full. The half was plenty for us.
