I am an international student, and this was the first donut shop I’ve ever visited in the U.S. The friendly service and warm atmosphere made me forget my homesickness, even if just for a moment. It felt comforting and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the experience.

I really enjoy the old time coffee shop vibe. They do not take card but have an ATM in the store. The donuts are good, but for some reason in Kansas it seems like there is a taboo with putting filling in long johns. Guess I should have asked if there was a filling before I bought two of them.

I don’t know how this place isn’t 5 stars across the board! Best donuts I’ve had in a long time!! Can’t speak to the staff (I didn’t pick up the order) but the donuts were amazing!! If I’m ever passing through Hays again I’ll be stopping!
