Appetizer of crab Rangoon and all 8 entrees were very good. One hour to get food. The surprise came when paying the bill by credit card. There was a 20% charge for the table of 8 plus a 3% charge to use the cc. A$40 meal had become $9.20 more for the 23% added. The waitress does not tell you this when you are paying but the tip is already added. Be aware! You do not need to add a tip again when the tip page comes up on the iPad as it was already put on your bill. Word to the wise.

The food is so good and fresh. There is a little bit of a wait time for the food but the staff is very kind and keep you informed on wait times. Definitely recommend this place since all the food is fresh and delicious.I had the chicken curry, the sesame chicken, and their mango bubble tea. Thr sesame chicken was probably my favorite, the chicken was juicy and tender. Good hand cut chicken with so much flavor. The sauce that they use on it is divine. The chicken curry has a rich flavor. It has a hint of spice that pairs very well with their rice. The mango bubble tea was sweet and refreshing.Overall the sesame chicken was the best thing I tried but everything else was so good and flavorful. Everything is homemade and so so good.

I love eating at Melanie’s Kitchen! The food is always fresh and delicious, and I have not had a dish that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The wait staff is kind and pleasant. Melanie is one of the few restaurant owners who has managed to create a wonderful dining experience with exceptional food and atmosphere.
Melanies kitchen was a refreshing change of palate from the big box and fast-food which pervades this area. I recommend you try their curry chicken, pancit, or orange chicken. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. The servers were friendly and timely. This location was 80% full and I could overhear positive remakes. Even though they have traditional asian cuisine, dont miss out on the authentic Philippine dishes!!

It’s hard to find good curry but Melanie’s has it!!The crab Rangoon is home made and some of the best I’ve had.I can’t wait to go back.Parking: You can park in the front or on the north side. Or across the street.Kid-friendliness: The booster seats were clean and not all gross and sticky.Staff was super friendly and welcoming.
