Wow!! I absolutely loved the Old Chicago Chopped Salad and the amazing creamy herb dressing!!! Gotta find a copycat recipe asap. Please note though, it’s quite spicy. The kids’ menu mac and cheese, yogurt, chicken and fries were also great! Mac especially! Vanessa did a wonderful job taking care of us!

It's a great quick stop between KC and Denver or vice-versa, and they have a weekday lunch special of salad, pizza and a drink for only 9.99. Can't hardly beat that at the fast food places and the food here is much better. Only down side is the open area to outdoor patio let's the occasional fly in. Staff are always friendly though and service is quick which is great for travelers. $9.99 lunch special is Mon-Thur until 3pm. Great deal, efficient, friendly and fast service as usual.

I recently visited this establishment with my mother, who was experiencing it for the first time. We were promptly seated, and our server provided attentive service. While drink refills and check-ins could have been more frequent, she was efficient. The food and beverages were enjoyable; however, the menu could benefit from additional options, particularly for younger children. My two-year-old son did not express interest in any of the offerings, though this may be attributable to his age.

I came in today after having to have my car towed with my kiddo and she heard my story with my son in the restroom. She could have quickly left but she sprung into action and was caring and accepting. You have an awesome person working for you.

We hadn't been to an Old Chicago in ages, as there are none where we live now. So when we stopped for the night in Hays and saw the restaurant across the road, we were extremely pleased. Our food was great and our service was outstanding. Phillip was our server and probably one of the best we've ever experienced. Extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Very good with our Grandkids. We will definitely be back on our next trip through!!
