Went with a few others. Was seated fast and given a server quick. With the amount of people there at the time I was worried it would take a long time to get our food but they were actually pretty fast for such a big order. Food was great. The bento boxes are pretty big. The sushi rolls were great and presented very professional. Drink cups were rather small but honestly didn't think much of it. Main thing I didn't like was that I was a little mislead because it says it's a hibachi grill but it's not like other hibachi grills where you sit around the grill and get a chef per group that interacts and cooks for you. Was still good though. Other than that we will definitely go back

One of, if not the best restaurants in Hays. In the multiple times I've eaten here I've never had a bad meal, experience, or service.
Some restaurants stop offering refills when they see you're about done with the food, or give you the check to rush you out the door. The staff at Osaki let you take your time and enjoy your meal.
The food here is better than I have had in larger cities like Denver or Kansas City. While I am still on the hunt for the best sushi in Kansas City, they all have to compete with Osaki in Hays, Kansas.
Delicious, fresh, made to order. I plan Osaki into my visits back to Hays.

I love Osaki. Sushi is always fresh and quickly prepared, the menu is varied and very reliably good, service is pleasant, and prices (especially for drinks!) are very reasonable. It's not a hibachi style restaurant, but always a pleasant place with friends.

The last time I was here they didnt bring the rice for our hibachi meal, waited months and decided to try again today. It felt like we were walking into a library there was no music or noise in the atmosphere that all the customers were whispering or else their conversation was heard by everyone. The sodas were flat, and the sushi roll had barely any rice
I dont know what has happened to this place, it used to be great but sadly I feel this is the last time I eat here. So disappointed.
Food was great but the place could be cleaner. Just a bit dirty for my liking.
