Loved this place. Service was GREAT! Our waitress checked on us many times throughout our meal to make sure everything was satisfactory. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious and coffee was exceptional.

Great home cooked breakfast, come if you're hungry. Staff is amazing, makes you feel like you're at the only customer there. I will go back. Best coffee ever, pleasant staff as well.

Food was average. Not good, but not bad either. Bland (personal taste). Clean. Friendly. Good amount of space between tables. Not overly priced.

my food Was BLAND, HURRIED, LUKEWARM . should’ve walked out without paying it was the biggest waste of 40$ they didn’t deserve my money for that nasty food. Should go ahead and make it an elderly home they’re the only ones who are gonna enjoy it cause they done lost all their taste. Tear this place down, they don’t care about their customers..

The food was pretty bland and terrible. The eggs Benedict is called an aristocrat and is priced around $12. I ordered this and it came with a grany packet cheese sauce. The eggs were hard boiled. Not runny. When I took one bite, I knew I wasn't going to be able to pretend it was decent. I asked the waitress to please take it back and sub for 2 fried eggs. She didnt know what a fried egg was. Once I recieved my eggs hard and rubbery as they were, I managed to eat most of them. The waitress came by after with the check and said she wasn't going to charge for my eggs. I thought she wasn't charging for the Benedict style. But, no. She meant the eggs I asked for after. Instead she expected me to pay $12 whopping dollars for terrible food I didn't eat. I asked her to remove the food I didn't eat and charge me for the eggs. She then argued with me about well what was it you didnt like about them and when I told her that they tasted terrible, theres not a hollandaise sauce, that sauce was grainy and I didn't even know what it was, and that my eggs were hard boiled, and I'm don't feel comfortable paying for food I didn't eat, she said fine and walked away. I wouldn't recommend.

Good service, basic food. Nothing to brag about.
My wife and I passed through and stopped for breakfast. The food and service were exceptional not to mention how tidy and clean the place was! We love supporting local family owned businesses and were so pleased with our experience. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to our next visit!

Great Mom’ n Pop diner just off I70. Opening @ 6 am is a big plus for get-up-and-go road warriors. Food was perfect, service the same. Prices just right. Here’s another great reason to “buy local”!

Great food friendly service and fast
I take breakfast food seriously and this is legitimately one of the best breakfast joints I’ve ever been to. The chicken fried steak was amazing, the homemade gravy was perfect, and definitely get the German sausage. Service is top notch. Any time I need to refuel in Hays while I’m passing through, I’m going to be stopping here for a bite. Yall are amazing!
Good food, great service, and a good atmosphere

We parked our LARGE vehicle across the street behind O'Reilly Auto parts.
The waitress was nice, but she didn't get my wife's egg order in correct, so she had to send it back, and it still came back undercooked (that's on the cook). She said the corned beef hash was good. My western omelet was good even though the egg was a little under cooked. The hashbrowns were undercooked, and some spots were still cool/cold.
