So many choices for food and drinks! Our waitress was so nice and helpful. This place is an experience all on its own. Kid friendly as well. The bathrooms were clean and tidy.My husband and I had a steak and it was well seasoned as well as tender. I really liked the mashed potatoes also. The Bloody Mary was OK.Parking: Parking is right in front of the building and plenty of spots.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

Loves this place so much on our road trip the beef was cooked to perfection portions amazing fries bomb and the price was great for a family of 5 from Colorado we love it so much stopping In on the way back home just for this place !!!!! This is definitely a place to visit for the vibe and atmosphere. That being said, the food was good. We ordered a few drinks, which were spectacular. The appetizer of fried pickles and pork tails were good, too. Some of the food tastes and looks like it comes in frozen rather than made fresh in-house, but it is good and works with the vibe of the place. The chicken sandwich was nice and a perfect size, well put together. The side of mac was delicious and my favorite part of the experience. The caesar salad was crisp and the dressing rich, so also very good. This is a place where I could spend a few hundred easy on a game night if I lived in the area. It is worth stopping by and experiencing if passing through Hays.

Awesome, awesome food. The wait was about 30 minutes to get in on a Saturday night around 5 pm, but everything was perfect. Tried the nachos with pulled pork and they were so good, plus way too much food. Wife then got the steak dip sandwich-great steak, flavor, overall great. I got the Ribeye special which came with baked beans and garlic mashed taters and everything was great. Ribeye was perfectly cooked medium rare and the seasoning wasn't over powering but just right. Super fun place and great atmosphere. Sports bar for the family, good drinks, fresh food, great staff. All around amazing experience. Visiting family in the area and was hesitant to eat here because it sounded like it was just going to be bar food, but the menu is pretty good size and all the food was good. Will definitely be back when we are in town! I had the grilled wings with sweet and spicy sauce; highly recommend.

I came in to unwind and have a good beer and steak. I’ve never ever had a bad experience at Thirstys. But tonight after I had ordered I got a devastating phone call. I’ve lost a very close family member. I was in tears, couldn’t eat or function really when I got that call. I was going to leave but wanted to finish my beer. Instead they brought the food out, packed it to go for me, both servers came up and gave me a big hug, and that the meal was on them. Needless to say I just cried more. My point is, you can go here anytime and whatever happens, they still treat you like family and will do anything to make it right if you are unhappy for some odd reason. I NEVER leave reviews, but the 2 servers at the bar area tonight are extra special to me now as well as the whole team at thirstys. Keep it up guys!Kid-friendliness: They love kiddos!Wheelchair accessibility: Have accessible tables and restrooms
