Wanted to try their buffet but opted for something off the menu. Ordered some big wings I think they were called pterodactyl wings in bbq. We were really excited for them. They looked great, but it was flavorless. I immediately regretted the decision. I ended not eating my burger after the taste the wings left. It was over my lunch break so couldn't really say much. The server was nice. Atmosphere was okay.

Just passing through Hays and found them on a Google search. Menu looked amazing.
Walked in and found a buffet only, and signage that indicated all you can eat for $14 per adult. Decided to try it. Modest food selection was barely average. Quality was below average.
Waitress dropped bill for two adult buffets at $44.11. When asked, response was “it’s Easter. Easter is a holiday. Buffet is $20 per adult”. Nothing in the bar stated holiday buffet was $20. Only a sign stating $14 buffet, WE-SU, 11-2. Owner shrugged and stated “it’s all over Facebook” as if I should follow every restaurant I walk into.
The experience felt like bait and switch from the moment I walked on the door.

People are always really nice and the place is very clean. Has a nice bar feel but is not dirty or overcrowded. Food is reasonably price and of good quality. We enjoy the Sunday Buffet for lunch.

I have head the food is great and was told by the bar tender while sitting at the bar and looking forward to the good food that the kitchen was open till 10 pm but don't be fooled the cook and owner tk Terry kinderkenct had told me when I asked what was best thing to order was McDonald's because he was already cleaning up an hour before scheduled closing time which was 9 pm for the kitchen so please be careful make sure your there in time

Very disappointed in the Sunday buffet. If I'm going to a BBQ restaurant I expect BBQ. They had some pulled pork and ring sausage they bought at Walmart and put bbq sauce on it. We went during the week and it was excellent BBQ from the menu.

Everything was amazing! The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious and served quickly. Price was great for portions and flavor. Was very easy to eat gluten-free. They could even make gluten free mac&cheese. Brisket, cheesy potatoes, and baked beans were top notch.

The food was barely warm. The nachos didn’t have much for meat on them; make sure to ask for salsa on the side bcuz they dump a ton on top.
Nice little spot. Good food and friendly service. The burnt ends amd cowboy corn were delicious.

The lady I guess who is a boss was not friendly they charged me a fee on each item for using my cc the server never came back to the table to check on me. A couple walked in behind me and the lady behind the bar the boss I guess she was fake to them. If you don’t like your job then you shouldn’t be doing it. I know it’s wasn’t the server fault but come on be a better manager. My first time eating there and it will be my last.
