Over the years we have stopped in Hays in our travels. We tried Trio when they first opened and it as been our go to restaurant when it works out. Fortunately, we got to eat here twice this month. First stop we were super hungry and had the best ribeye with all the sides. Awesome steak. I usually don’t buy ribeye in a restaurant because I get good beef, but it was great. They also have great Mac and cheese! My husband is still raving about their soup. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff… 5 stars to Maddie!

I was there on a busy night without a reservation. Wait was not long at all, staff was very attentive and even offered free dessert for my wait. To my surprise earlier a very nice gentleman had already paid for my dinner. Hays, KS has the nicest people. A big thank you to whomever paid for my meal!!!!

The German Green Bean soup was the best. Large pieces of dumpling and potatoes, and bacon. Really nice favor! The bread on the Turkey Avacado sandwich was so good. It reminded me of a home made focaccia, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Highly recommend.

Worst case of food poisining ever and complained about the bad steak taste and got a few dollars off .... great place to go for a $100 case of food poisining .

I was told they had the best steaks from my daughter. Well, my steak was cooked alright but the taste was not good. Seasoned with salt and pepper only they said but I think not or the meat was on the edge of bad. Rest of my dinner was good. Asparagus was cooked just right. Waitress went to get the manager. We talked and said they would give me a discount. My discount amounted to approximately 2-3% off. I left half of my steak. I will not recommend anyone to have steaks here! Waitress was wonderful.

Another piece of heaven I was able to find a I make my way across America. From the first step into this establishment, Emma and Claudia made this disabled veteran feel welcomed and at home. They were kind, professional attentive, rapid and truly went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. I had the Calamari for appetizer and I must say the rings were absolutely meaty. For dinner I had the Famous BRAT'. All I will say is I know why is famous! WoW and for desert I had the banana cheesecake as recommended and boy, it did not disappoint. Overall I highly recommend you to try this great place! INK approved

I stayed in Hays during a road trip not too long ago and had the creamed corn at this restaurant and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since 🤣🤣 the best creamed corn I’ve ever had!! The rest of the food was amazing, too, but that creamed corn yo! 🌽

We had trio tonight to celebrate my fiance’s brothers birthday. I forgot to make a reservation thankfully we came early enough that they had room for four. Service was speedy fast I felt like, I loved the root beer they serve, my Caesar salad tasted amazing, and my entree was out of this world the Bow tie pasta with mushroom crème sauce with grilled chicken! It was amazing I was in awe with the quality of food and the price we paid! The bathrooms are also really cute set up and very clean! I highly recommend Trio Tap House to anyone!
