Great looking restaurant with friendly staff.
The menu was diverse, something you'd find in Dallas or LA.
The issue was the execution of said dishes. Undercooked risotto, if you can see the individual grains of rice it's undercooked. Literally another minute or two.
The scallops were also undercooked, a hint of a sear, another 30 seconds in the pan.
The arugula was soooo overdressed to the point of inediblility.
This restaurant is close. However, not worth the **high** cost.

The food was excellent. I had the best (Italian) pork chop I've ever had my whole life. I'm not kidding. It was amazing!!! The service was friendly and hospitable. There were a couple of hiccups. A food item was missed, and when you pay as much money as you do at a high-end restaurant like this, they should box your leftovers up for you.

Hidden gem in northwest KS. We have drove up from Wichita twice to eat here now and it's worth the drive.
This restaurant needs to comprehend that their failure to efficiently run a location and appropriately prepare should not constitute an emergency on part of the diners. will NEVER be returning and am telling EVERYONE that this overpriced building is not worth anyone's time

Not at all what I expected in Hoxie, KS. Excellent food, clean restaurant, friendly staff, and did I say excellent food? Everything on the menu tastes perfect, nothing out of place, no overpowering flavours. Simple things like the arugula side salad is one of the best tasting dishes ever. Sandwiches are great, steaks are great. I would not hesitate to eat there and look forward to Hoxie solely for The Elephant!
