The kids, husband and I went here for an early supper. It smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. We were greeted and seated pretty quickly. Our waitress was the sweetest thing ever. She got our order out to us very quickly. Kept up with refills. The only thing I would have to say that lacked was the napkins. Lol. We definitely needed napkins. But other than that, it was a great experience.

The best Mexican food in town, and I have tried them all. Fast friendly service. Good food. Generous portions. We had some good leftovers the next day. In my few months in Independence this is one of the few places I revisited. Recommend you give it a try.

Indian is a fun town for families. I drove up with my family from Tulsa to get away. We found Maria’s, the owner took special pride in creating my margarita, it was wonderful. The menu is unique enough to set itself apart. Quality of the food, especially the fajitas above average . Seemed to be from one large steak and it was cut suitably thick The prices were reasonable and fair, especially for the quality of food and service we received .

Before this, I had never eaten a meal where everything tasted like water! Five stars to the culinary geniuses who delivered such a novel experience! My only complaint, the water tasted a little soapy.

This is a mixed rating. The food is ok not great by any means. However, I should have known being from South Texas that the further north you go the Mexican food gets worse.

The atmosphere was more like a fast food restaurant rather than a sit down family restaurant.

My waiter gets mixed reviews. I asked for shredded chicken in my enchiladas. He got that correct. I asked if his chipotle sauce was a creamy chipotle sauce. He said yes. It was not.

At that point, I told him I wanted a new plate of enchiladas with sour cream sauce on my enchiladas. He brought back cheese in a dish. I asked him a second time for a new plate of enchiladas with sour cream sauce. He brought back a bowl of sour cream. I gave up trying to get what I wanted since he obviously didn’t understand to bring me a new plate of enchiladas with sour cream sauce on the enchiladas.

To make matters worse, I told him I would pay for both plates of enchiladas, the one I didn’t want and the one I wanted. Yet, I still couldn’t get the enchiladas the way I wanted them.
