“I went there for my birthday. Busy!!! But, it was my birthday and I wanted a steak. Ordered a 8 ounce sirloin medium rare. When I got it. Well done. The bartender took it back to kitchen, came back smaller and not even close to medium. Won't o back on Saturday! However, here's the good review my husband loved the burger he received... When we first moved here we went there middle of week and the food was Great!!! Will return just not on a weekend.”

“This is a staple to Independence, it is some of the best food in town. Sue and her family are very kind and get to know their customers. If you have a choice stop here you wont regret it. Atmosphere is awsome but bring cash that is the only currency accepted.”

“Ordering over the phone was not a good experience. The young man taking the order needs better customer service and phone etiquette. Was told 25 minutes and it was 45 minutes instead. The Chicago pizza (deluxe) was delicious. Only problem was it was lukewarm when getting it home. So popped it in the air fryer.”

“Delicious food, great selection of ice cream treats! However, that past couple of times, my family has visited, the dining area has been kinda gross. Dirty condiment/ soda area, flies, and dirty floor and tables. Staff is overall friendly, but at our last visit, the Braums sauce was out, we let an employee know that we wanted someone and if they could restock the dispenser and they made it seem like it was an inconvenience for them to do so. But again food is delicious and great prices, especially thier price on ice cream scoops and shakes.”
