This place was trash! We (3 of us) got there at 7pm and all of the food looked dry. Went ahead and got a plate of food each. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Rice was dry, egg drop soup was oily and taste funny, any meat was Luke warm. We took a bite out of each thing we has on our plates and decided to leave. We told the waitress that the food was trash and we walked out.

Amazing, been going to parsons for great Chinese food, now I don't have to go so far. haven't been to this on in a few years, it has changed hands. But wow best food i have had in a long while. Definitely going back. My wife doesn't like this kind of food, but I just love it. Can't wait to go back very soon. Best food in south east Kansas.Vegetarian options: Yes, salads and so much more.

I have never been here when the food wasn't delicious. I read through the comments and thought some were a little unfair. I see the staff hustle to keep hot food supplied on the buffets. Their staff has never been rude to us in all the years I have been going there. The pandemic did change some things and they no longer leave shakers or bottles on the tables, but they have it always at the counter if you ask for it. I have never seen bugs in this restaurant. Could one fall off of a customer, or out of their purses , totes, or baby carriers; most certainly. As with all buffets, clientele is all over the map, but when monthly checks come in for some families, they come in and camp at a table eating the place out of everything as if it will be the last meal they ever get. The only down side to this place I have ever seen is how unkempt some of the diners are and the behaviors of unruly children with parents or guardians that just don't seem to notice. I love this place and it is always my first choice for eating out when I go to Independence. Remember to be grateful for how hard they work; otherwise we might be eating Chinese food we have to make at home and dirty our own kitchens.

I come here for the egg rolls and especially the spring rolls (the best I have ever eaten except for my sister-in-law's, who learned to cook from Mamasan in SE Asia.)Vegetarian options: Slim pickings, but some greegbeans, fried zucchini, potatoes. Pick the broccoli out from the beef strips.Kid-friendliness: See kids in carriers through teens.Wheelchair accessibility: Can be done with help. Bring your own helper to carry your plate and serve your food.

A very good variety of food & flavor! Very hard working family owned restaurant!To address the reviews regarding the food. I have seen first hand how quickly they work to refill all of the many options on the buffet! It becomes very difficult to keep up with when customers overfill their plates, leaving none for the next customers.
