Moving from NYC to KS, what I miss most is the food.
This places tastes like home.
Granted some food ran out before we got there but that just means it's delicious and we were too late. So get there early for lunch! Better luck next time for us. Lol
Everything was so good. Service was friendly and helpful. Nice seating area to dine in and good parking, as well. We will definitely be back!

Food is good but service is extremely slow. Don’t go when you’re hungry or short on time.

The 3 star review was only because I just walked in and was looking for vegetarian options! I've had Puerto Rican cuisine before and everything in your restaurant was what I had eatin before. I was going to just get the rice but I wanted vegetables as well.

A unique restaurant offering Puerto Rican food in the Junction City/Manhattan, KS area. The food was delicious. I had the chicken stew in red sauce (pollo guisado), rice and beans (arroz con granules), macaroni salad (ensalada de coditos), and the mofongo with chicken. Although it was somewhat expensive, it was worth it. The inside of the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Most of the food is served cafeteria-style, which means that I got all of the food but the mofongo almost instantly. However, I wish the menu items were clearly labeled.

Been coming to Ia's for the time they have been at this location. We have ordered several times including arroz con gandules, arroz mamposteao, costillas, patitas, Mofongo con carne frita, and lasagna. Service is always great and flavors are awesome. Just like home cooked in Puerto Rico.
