Outstanding food and service. All the sandwiches and burgers are delicious, the salmon burger has a large piece of beautifully cooked salmon, not even fishy-tasting. Fried fish is perfect, ribs are fantastic. We love the collard greens, cabbage & yams, too. The cheesesteaks are my favorite. We've tried basically everything on the menu, it's all great soul food. The owner is a good guy, support this local business!

This place was awesome. The service was excellent. My husband and grandson both. Had the classic smash burger which was huge and came with all the toppings. They also had fries and macaroni and cheese ( both were great!).
I had the chicken pasta. It was soooo good. There was enough of it for 2 or maybe 3 people. The prices were very reasonable for the quality.
It is kind of a small no frills place, but man is it ever worth the stop.

We are visiting from South Dakota and stopped here for some lunch. Absolutely delicious!! The Chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. My Philly cheesecake was so flavorful. My husband loved his pork chop dinner. My son loved his Chicken Sandwich. And the service was great! We will definitely come back as we come to KC a lot.
Definitely give them a try!
