Is was not bad just not as good as their other restaurant. It's crammed into a corner of Nebraska furniture mart, so probably what you'd expect.

Burnt ends were very dry. The customer service was pretty bad messing up our order and then them not being happy about it. It's definitely not Kansas City barbecue style

Posting menus and signage to help others, this location has all day happy hour on Fridays (not Thursdays like the main location). This worked out really nice for us since we planned mattress shopping around hearing the live music they have weekly on Fridays as well. Food wasn’t as good as the main location, burnt ends came out cold and the “buffalo wings” tasted nothing like buffalo, but it was overall fine. Their happy hour nachos are delicious and a steal. Limited bar with batch cocktails, but they were big (and strong).

Honestly, I was really looking forward to going here.. The other location in Shawnee is sooo excellent so, I finally decided to try this one!
At first glance, the food looked pretty good.. But then, I started to eat it.. And... Here we go folks...
We ordered a lunch rib tip plate with fries, an onion straw starter, and Brisket nachos..
1. The Onion Straw starter came out with the rest of the food.. It was BARELY done.. Straws were hot but, kinda soggy.. No honey mustard or other sauce was given.. It's supposed to come with honey mustard standard.
2. The Lunch Rib Tip Platter was COLD! And when I say cold, let's just say barely room temp.. The fries that came with were actually very good though..
3. The Brisket Nachos were more like regular nachos.. Of the little Brisket that was on there, the pieces were so small, you had to really look to see that there was meat on there.. Mostly crushed chips..
Very disappointed if anything, mostly because like I said, the location in Shawnee is so great! This is Kansas City! Bbq capital of the world! You would still think you were in Omaha at this location..

Ate here over the weekend with the family for dinner, 2 adults and 2 kids. Food was decent but the price...for a essentially self service restaurant was rediculous $90 for 2 adult meals, 2 kids meals and a appetizer and a mix drink. Sadly it's cheaper to go to a nice full service sit down restaurant like olive garden right down the street!

Don’t sleep on Blind Box BBQ because they are located inside NFM. If you like KC-style slightly sweet, sauced bbq, you will enjoy Blind Box BBQ. Burnt ends sandwich was very good, the baked beans were fantastic, and the cheesy corn very good as well. There are different styles of bbq, and Blind Box is a very good purveyor of KC style bbq. Staff and service was very pleasant and quick.

I am sure there are better BBQ places in KC. BUT, Blind Box was better than I expected. I enjoyed my burnt end sandwich and another family member enjoyed the nachos.

I wasn’t expecting much given the location, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations! The food is reasonably priced—just $10 for a sandwich and your choice of side. I highly recommend the mac & cheese. The portion sizes are spot-on for the price—they definitely don’t hold back. I also tried The Notorious P.I.G., and it was packed with flavor. A great find all around!

Meat was good. I had burnt ends and pulled pork. The slaw was definitely not KC style. Didn't care for it at all. Might just be me. But it is an ok place. Walk up and order, get condiments yourself, so basically no service. I don't like spending g $60 on a meal, and am expected to take my plate to the trash. Again, this is my deal, you might not mind. Kind of like $60 McDonald's atmosphere, except BBQ.
