Blue Rose is a pretty basic little dive bar in the Central area of KCK. Nothing too remarkable or special, just a normal neighborhood hangout. However, the bartender was very pleasant and friendly. She was the definite highlight of the visit. Where I really have to give the Blue Rose props, though, is that it is the ONLY private club in this part of KCK to ever give me a membership form after I asked politely how to join. A few other clubs have let me in because the bartender was bored or really didn't care, but most would not and would not tell me how to become a member. Blue Rose bucked that trend.
