This is the only "restaurant" in the hotel and it's set up buffet style. You can not order anything off the buffet to go, so you have to eat there. They do a breakfast and a dinner. It's actually very expensive for what they offer! I get it convenience and everything but $24 per adult and $12 per child is crazy!! It's also not like a giant buffet with maybe 3 meat choices and the rest vegetables and rice. They also have a "pasta bar" where you can order different pastas... Figured we'd try it since they had ribs that day and I figured I could eat $25 worth of ribs...You do get a server who fills up your drinks "when they check on you if they aren't talking to another employee" and they take away your plates.. The ribs were okay not great, you could tell they were boiled flash grilled then drenched in sauce, the majority of all the sides were completely free of any seasoning, and the desserts they had that day were cookies that tasted like day old Walmart cookies and cheesecake that tasted like the cheap no bake stuff. If you want to relive your school cafeteria days go ahead and dig in at a premium price..I feel most places are like this now; mediocrity and a premium price...There is a pizza ordering place right next to the restaurant we didn't try it, but it had to be better and cheaper. I'd say if you eat here go with the Pizza for dinner and go to the ice cream/ coffee shop for a breakfast sandwich instead and save yourself the $$$

Hostess was rude. Once we were seated the waitress was great. Checked on us often to refill drinks. As the buffet not a single item I would recommend eating. None of the items listed below when reviewing were even on the menu. Pasta bar food was not cooked. Shrimp was still raw. I do not eat raw shrimp in pasta. To sum it up save yourself the $25 for a salad. For our group it was $340 for salad and cookies. Not a single child or adult ate anything else. Eat outside of Great Wolf Lodge.

I didn’t realize this was a buffet. No dinner menu. Food was horrific. Our waitress was kind and checked on us often. I ordered a cocktail and it was just ok. Restaurant was clean. We won’t be back during our stay.

Yummy omelets! We love the breakfast buffet. Not a big fan of the dinner buffet though. Way over priced for the limited options.

We have been coming to this location every couple of years for the past 15 years or so. After reading the recent reviews I was a little apprehensive, but I really don't know what everyone is complaining about. We found the grounds and indoor areas to be clean, the check in was flawless, the life guards were on point, the water park was operational and the bathrooms were clean. My daughter had her glasses fall out of her bag and we checked back at closing time and they had them. (thanks to those who turned them in). The rooms were clean, we enjoyed mini golf and the activities in the lobby. The food and drinks may be over priced but so is any ball park or concert you go to. We avoided the buffet and got donuts from the coffee shop. The beds could be a bit firmer, but it was only for 2 nights and the kids had a ball. We adults relaxed and enjoyed it also.

We had a wonderful time here and I WISH I could give it five stars. Totally would have until the nightmare it is to deal with a $100 charge, probably for incidentals however it is three weeks later and the sale is finalized and still on my account. I have called the 800 number for Great Wold and opened two cases one week apart from each other. The hotel should have called me back yet nothing! I have tried calling the hotel directly as instructed by the GWL 800 number and no one answers. The ONE time out of many that someone answered she transferred me to a automated service that ended up disconnecting the call! After more then a week I finally heard back from GWL and all they are saying is I need to work with my bank. Which I am now doing. However as I told them it shouldn't take 20 phone calls and more then a week to get any sort of response. It might really be an issue on the bank side however all this frustration could very easily have been avoided had the hotel contacted me back in a reasonable amount of time. Other then this issue everything went good. The food was expensive but decent. The breakfast buffet had many options. The pizza and pool food good. The blended drinks by the pool were delicious but very expensive. Water park was super fun and well kept up. The room was great! Activities around the hotel were great for keeping kids entertained. The service at the hotel itself was great!

They are only doing a dinner Buffett now which was extremely overpriced. Food was not fresh and flavor lacking. You are better off ordering a few pizzas in house if you want to eat on property and it save probably a hundred bucks.

Go to another location!!! Hotel needed major cleaning, Food was overpriced, over $100 for 3 of us to eat a buffet that was very slim to pick from, the room above us and hallways were loud even after 11pm quiet hours, and as of now they have doubled charged me for our room charges (over $400) and then told me someone would get back to be but it wouldn’t be for 72 hour or so. ? absolutely ridiculous!!!! I don’t want to say all GWL are terrible because i I can see where the experience would be worth it but I would recommend another location for sure!

As a location to take two 8-year-olds for spring break, GWL hit all the marks for them. They had fun all day long playing at the water park, completing the MagiQuest, playing in the arcade, wearing PJs to breakfast, and visiting the Grand Lobby for character sightings, story time, crafts, and dance party. However, as an adult, I was disappointed in lots of areas. The water park area doesn’t have adequate tables to sit at for lunch. Lunch is only junk food—hamburgers or chicken strips. Paper straws are used exclusively, which don’t work well for Icees. Dinner in the restaurant was awful—salmon was tough, veggies overcooked, no vegetables for the salad. The resort is very expensive, so get ready for sticker shock upon departure. I had to keep reminding myself that this trip was for the kids, not me. We won’t be back, but the kids had fun.

Visited the one in KC with my family after seeing their commercials. We originally planned a 2 night stay but were super happy we changed it to 1. Can honestly say this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, EVER, on a family vacation. Our 4 year old had a great time at the Waterpark and arcade, but we both agreed the remainder was garbage. Quality of all the food was somewhere around what you would expect at a county fair. Our room was clean on arrival but everything was old and stained (carpets, couch, chair) except for the freshly bleached linens. Would never recommend a family waste their money staying here. For a late lunch, paw pass, dinner for 3, 2 drinks, and the room for a night, it was 1000. I even tried to convince my wife to try the dinner because she was ready to Grubhub dinner after the lunch. Should have listened because she was right. NEVER stay here; come to the indoor water park and find a better hotel. DONT WASTE MONEY ON LODGING HERE

After reading some recent reviews on our drive to GWL from STL, I started to get a little worried. I am happy to report that those worries were unfounded. Our room was ready within 30 minutes of arrival (we arrived before check-in time), our room was very clean, everything was in working order, all of the attractions were open and operating well, and there were plenty of towels. These were all of the things I was worried about because of the recent negative reviews. My kids had the best time and loved every second of our mini vacay. We will definitely be coming back in the future! I would like to say that there was one negative experience that was of no fault to GWL. On Saturday, we received a phone call directly from the room below us. It was 9pm and the man on the phone was aggressively accusing us of “doing gymnastics.” I would like to note that we were all on our beds watching a movie. My kids got up to go to the bathroom or grab snacks a few times but were not being rambunctious at all. I was shocked at this guest’s nerve to call another room so confrontationally. Not to mention, he chose to stay on the ground level of a family resort on the weekend. Quiet time starts at 11pm and it was a Saturday night. My suggestion for people worried about noise in the evenings would be to request a room on the top floor, or even to choose to stay elsewhere.
