If you’re not hitting Cap’s for lunch, you’re missing out on the friendliest staff who are delivering the best experience and food you can get at a great price point. My coworker and I will be keeping it top of the list of local places to hit.

We are use to a high quality Captain D's experience in the south. The Midwestern stores can not get it right. Stopped by about 8pm tonight at the location on State avenue.
Employees were out in the parking lot when we arrived. One lady came inside to take our order.
The fish wasn't even close to warm. Not sure there was even reheated.
The macaroni and cheese was not even edible.
We got a breadstick instead of a hush puppy and it wasn't very warm either. Definitely not fresh. Sweet tea was in the back. Tasted tainted. Definitely should not be served
They were waiting on a delivery truck so they were out of about six different items... Which is not within these employees control.
But this is our absolute worst Captain D's experience ever! Grossest food I have ever seen served on a plate. $18.49. wasted!
The Captain D's in Wentzville, MO was actually delicious but for some reason corporate closed that store as soon as it got a decent following.

To eat some fish... First trip had excellent service and counter girls were pleasant and friendly food was great. This second trip I stopped in drive thru at 13 min before 10. Lights were on drive thru and outside lights too. There was a cook standing outside the back door on his phone I sat there for 5 minutes the cook went inside I herd him say there was someone in drive thru and I still didnt my order taken it was 5 till by then I just gave up and drove away. I know it was about closing time but why state hours of operation if your not going to serve the public. The amount of the sale lost wouldve been approximately $40-$50 with what we all wanted. I use to be a assistant manager at this place and the other store which has been closed for years on 35th state ave over 20 years ago. Yes it was a drag to have someone this close to closing to pull up and want food and have to clean up after that last order but that's what your there for is to serve the public. I wasn't happy at all. But I do understand why because I've been there also. All in all the place is clean food was great and counter girls and the cooks/manager was really nice. I will return regardless of pulling up at almost closing time wanting $50 worth of food. Would've been 5 stars down the board if this wouldn't of happened.

Waited a while for my food just to be given cold fries, hush puppies had an old taste to them and the slaw barely could be called slaw. Very disappointed in the meal I was given. Thank God I was only passing thru because the food here was trash. Someone can't cook!! I don't recommend anyone eating here. Avoid a costly mistake 👎😡

I’d wanted to try it for a while, finally did today. Plan about a 15 minute wait for take out and really underwhelming food. Won’t be going back.

Walked inside. Lady worker was taking someone’s order. When done, she turns around and starts talking to her kid on FaceTime. Ignores me. After 5 minutes she tells kid she’s busy but doesn’t hang up. Gives the guy when I walked in his order. Still ignores me. Goes back to her kid on the phone. Guy in the back meanwhile comes to front and calls someone, can hear complaining about how he can’t work like this, it’s too hard, they need more help. Another employee comes out of the bathroom and walks behind counter. All 3 ignore me who has been standing there for atleast 8-10 minutes. I walked out. Hire new employees, ones that take a little pride in their work. Very unprofessional. Went to KFC, in and out in 3-5 minutes. Fast food !!

I went through the drive-thru yesterday at 5 pm, went to the window, waited and waited and they didn't give me my order, 25 minutes went by and the staff just ignored me, I left the restaurant at 5:30 pm and they never gave me my order, horrible service

Went 2 the drive thru on Thursday, no one was there, 2 workers outside confirmed they were still open. Was in the drive for 3min. Never acknowledged or anything so I drove off. Just left there bout 5min ago and the same experience with no one in the drive thru nor at the counter ordering when i drove around. There was a woker behind the counter standing. I worked at this location over 30yrs ago and you were alerted when someone pulled up in the drive thru and u had 3 seconds to acknowledge them. Customer service just not the same anymore. This is sad and its the only captain Ds in wyandotte county and to get the same service in 2 days in the same week. They never have to worry bout me attempting to go there again.

As a door dash driver coming here to pick up a simple order was very disturbing to see the doors locked at 2:30 in the afternoon had to sit in the Drive-Thru for nearly 20 minutes for an order and when I got the order the box and the bag was not even warm did let the customer know worst place to do business
