I used to love this place but, for some strange reason they stop serving sweet and sour chicken. They have the sweet and sour sauce they just don't fry up the chicken anymore. That's a staple for Chinese restaurants and Chinese buffets. Absolutely horrendous. I'm not going back.
Decent variety but the food was a little too lukewarm, cheap, and devoid of substance for a $20 meal. Host was very polite and friendly. Tex-Mex options were a nice distraction, though the “queso” was not from this planet, clearly unbound by the laws of fluid dynamics and reason. If that sounds like an overstatement, it’s not. The American food options that exist mostly for picky children are (and I don’t say this lightly) not even fit for American children. It’s like someone read a description in a book of what Americans eat and tried to recreate it without ever actually having tried the real thing. My ill-advised sampling of the mac n cheese and french fries in particular distilled in my mind the profound tragedy of our national identity - if this is what other cultures believe Americans eat and are made from, no claims of merit can affirm our self-styled exceptionalism, and any hopes for continued geopolitical dominance will only grow more untenable. As a midwest restaurant with a lot of Hispanic employees, perhaps they’d benefit from more employee input or involvement on their Mexican and Americana recipes, especially since these make up a large proportion of the offerings. Also, this sounds dark, but we must really all agree to keep the Japanese from discovering what has happened to sushi within these walls lest they become appalled enough to reinvade Manchuria. There was an olympic-sized swimming pool’s worth of sticky urinal runoff covering much of the bathroom floor and getting tracked around everywhere (and a stagnant bath of bleach-perfumed mop water covering the dining room floor, with an intriguingly mysterious indistinction between the end of the one and the start of the other) but this did not evoke within me the same questions of the plausibility of patriotism, just vivid memories of the underfoot sensations and palpable regret one experiences walking through an empty frat-house in the morning. For all the criticism, however, there are things I appreciate about this place: The apparent age of food on the buffet points to minimal food waste, which helps the environment. Carbon footprint must be low as well, as I can’t imagine people are traveling long distances to eat here. The food will surely strengthen one’s gut microbiome due to the diligence with which every dish besides ice cream, hot or cold, seems to be held within the magic range between 41 and 135 degrees. There is also an evidently untapped opportunity for local heath inspectors to practice their trade and better hone their craft. Despite giving a low rating today, I’d definitely return if I was planning a second or third date that l didn’t actually want to go on but lacked the spine to definitively call things off myself
Good place to visit. Plenty of seats. Parking is crazy cause it's a store front restaurant with other establishments nearby and connected
I wouldn't say it was killer food but I would say it's the best buffet I've had for a couple years in Kansas City.
Atmosphere is nice, but loud and crowded, sadly place seems kinda dirty. Most the staff are very friendly, cooking staff most can't speak English, not saying that's bad, but definitely hinders communication. Prices are decent for the large variety and variety of drinks also. Quality of food is where I can't see the price, lots of the meats are over cooked, fried chicken was to hard and overcooked to enjoy, many dishes taste extremely different than dishes at other cuisine style restaurants. The chicken nuggets and fries were about my favorite, nuggets in taste was better than McDonald's, BK, or Wendy's, they were perfect! Mac and Cheese was very impressive and that's coming from a guy who don't care for pasta! Overall not a bad place just not the best place. I've been here twice now six months apart and was hoping for a different experience than before, but sadly the second experience was probably worse than the first. One thing they do amazing is keeping food supplied, a pan is rarely found empty, and if so is very quickly refilled.
Parking: Very busy shopping center, unless you go late at night, you may have to walk from over by the grocery store.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very level and easy to navigate a wheelchair. Just watch for traffic it's a very busy shopping center.

I usually don’t write reviews but the food was disgusting. Me and my wife had to spit out food multiple times during our meal. Definitely will never be back here. The audacity to serve people a buffet like this and we also found hair in the General's Chicken on the buffet line. Owners please get this place together.
The food was slightly cold, not very good, and seemed overpriced. It cost $40 for three people. Bathroom is gross! Also got fruit punch and tasted like water. wouldn't come here again.
Very good and the price too

If I could put less than 1000 on it I would do everything wrong on this site. The food was horrible, the place in general (floor, table, plates, glasses) super dirty. I don't recommend anyone go and waste their time and money here. It was really impossible for me to even eat anything. Everything tasted disgusting, even the white rice. For God's sake, who does it? bad white rice? Not to mention the indigestion that gave my partner if he dared to eat something.
Food and Service is very excellent.

Save what's greasy? Well, their tables are greasy, the food is good, they just need a lot, a lot of cleaning on their tables and floors, the first unhygienic place I know of, I went because I was close and I gave the place a chance but one star in a lot.

Great selection of food. Wish they had more options on the Mexican food but nonetheless it was tasty! The bathrooms are super ghetto so make sure you go potty before heading out.
