Absolutely terrible service. Took 30 minutes to wait on my pickup and when I did get my food it was cold. Pieces of lettuce and other things I did not want were in the food as well. Worst Chipotle in the state. What an embarrassment.

This Chipotle location in the Power & Light District is hands down the best in Kansas City, in my opinion. The food is always fresh, and I love how consistent they are with the quality. The portions are generous, so you always leave satisfied. Whether I’m in the mood for a burrito, bowl, or tacos, this location never disappoints. The staff is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for grabbing a bite before or after a night out in the district. If you’re in the area, this is definitely the Chipotle to visit!

I had to wait an extra 20+ min for my pick-up order. Tried patiently waiting but was ignored by staff at the counter for over 10 min. When I finally got someone's attention to ask for a refund, they asked to give them even more time. By the time I got my order I was upset. Not only was the service extra slow and inconsiderate but the restaurant itself was filthy with trash overflowing from the waste basket and all over the condiment station.

I’m surprised to see so many bad reviews about this place! I’ve worked downtown for 2.5 years and have lunch here at least once a week. The staff are always very friendly, and the food is delicious! I’ve tried Chipotle at multiple other locations, and this one is by far the best.

Is it possible for a chipotle to get any worse? Missing half the items, rice was so old it was hard and balled up. Queso was gray, and even though we only took 2 bites maximum, we both got very very sick. Chipotle headquarters did nothing to compensate us, even though we spent 70$ for two people to eat at chipotle, and we didn't even eat it. TERRIBLE food quality and you won't get what you order. please do yourself a favor and steer clear. I am banning chipotle's across the board after this one. what a gigantic waste.
add in response to owner: I have reached out to "pepper" and they were not helpful. offered us 5 free drinks. for a $70 toxic waste? no thank you.

This employee that made my tacos, Kiara was really sweet. This other dude who I am assuming was the manager, Alex stood over her shoulder the whole time while she was making my bowl. It was kind of awkward, as it was closing time, so I’m not sure why he wasn’t helping clean instead of watching her, but I felt bad for her because it was awkward. Anyways, the tacos were still good!

Chipotle use to be my favorite lunch but no longer. Don't order TOGO unless you want to get a whole lot of nothing. Complete waste of money. Can't believe how little they give you for over $14. Ridiculous!
***Adding to your response to reach out on the link. Did that already and its a joke automated response. You have been removed from our lunch options. 4 people for over $100 and the smallest portions I have ever seen.

Although I enjoyed the food, 45 minutes later I threw it all up. Cheese was the only item that I ate, but my wife and son didn’t eat. They were just fine. I normally have a “cast iron stomach”.

I have usually had a good experience when I am wanting to have some Chipotle and am working downtown. Tonight, however, was a completely different story. I pre-ordered through the app what I usually do. Unfortunately the time the app said my food would be ready was not so. It was a little earlier but I was curious as to how much earlier. The lettuce on top was brown and the usually toppings that I get were barely noticeable. I noticed in a previous review that portions have declined and I have to say that I feel that I have to agree with that review. Consistency is key and unfortunately it seems that is lacking here. The place was empty when I stopped in and that is on a Friday at 5:15 pm. I may have to consider for the future when I am working downtown, sad to say.
