Dave & Buster's Kansas City

We booked a table for 10, when we got there nothing was ready. The server was sweet, but kitchen service was awful. Had to send the nachos back twice bc they were cold. It took 1 1/2 hours for what should have been 45 minutes. Made my birthday celebration very frustrating and stressful. We won't be back.

Entrance was confusing, google had us at the side of the building on the first floor. Entrance is further down on the second floor. Not sure anyone really works there. No hostess all was done through a kiosk. Had planned to eat there but no way to know about a table. Half the games didn't work properly. Balls were missing from some. Use credits and nothing came out. Over all disappointed.

We had a lot of fun and the food was great. Service was slow because the servers were spread so thin but she was very nice and got our order correct. And she brought refills before we asked! We had the fish and chips and cheeseburgers from the eat and play menu (The fries were amazing). We were there the evening of Father's Day but it wasn't very crowded. The Godzilla VR game they have is a blast but everything was fun. I was double charged on quite a few games so watch out for that. We couldn't figure out where to sit after we made our reservation, but the bartender was very nice and let us know it was open seating. We did have to clear a table but that was no big deal. Very good experience! I'll definitely be back.

When I checked in at the front desk for my reservation. I was told there was no reservations it was open seating. Even when I said it was a group of 15 and I would need a large table, I was not helped. I was told to get one of the servers to help push some tables together. Then I was ignored. I had to find my server three times to place drink orders or other request. They never came and checked in other than at the beginning. 20% tips was automatically added because of our large party, even when we never saw the person serving us. The games were fun. I only saw 1-2 closed down for repairs and there was people available to help with machines not working correctly. We did go in the middles of the day on Sat so it was not busy at all. I am sure games would be much different during peek hours.

What should have been a fun enjoyable afternoon with my daughter was ruined by the lack of respect and common sense by my server. We ordered the play combo and I requested a flavored tea. My waitress took my order no problem. When I was paying I requested a to go refill. Knowing my daughter would be thirsty after playing. My waitress explained that she could not give me a refill as "the flavored teas weren't part of the meal"...there was some misunderstanding (my part) but she stated and I quote, "I DECIDED F@C# IT" I'd give you the flavor tea". When I questioned her she didn't acknowledge she said it at first. I repeated it and she said "yeah sorry". Since my 9yr old daughter was sitting there I kindly reminded her there was a child present and that language was not acceptable. I did bring this to the attention of a manager (so he said). He didn't seem overly concerned. Even after I pointed to all the FAMILIES there and asked him if this was a family type establishment. I'm sorry Dave & Busters...but our experience...first one at that was terrible. As a parent I certainly can't recommend you to any of my parent friends. Do better. Dave & Busters makes it abundantly clear that they are only there to get your money from playing games and ripping you off on food. Food is WAY overpriced and the service is beyond terrible.

1st time here server Bob he a mexican guy he was so awesome and funny his humor had my laughing the whole time highly recommend the Cajun pasta omg yummm

Go to main event instead. Dave and busters cant split card charge purchases between cards costing you more and despite that has broken arcade games. Also doesn't have Lazer tag or bowling.

The food was awful. We didn't eat most of what we ordered. Everything was over cooked. The service was SO SLOW. Took us an hour and a half to order, eat and pay. This was before we even went to play games. Be careful at their front door also, the tiles are broken. We won't be back. This whole experience was terrible.

Very kind and accommodating. Just celebrated my son's 10th birthday here. I got the iconic birthday package and we were very pleased with the whole experience.

My grandson & went to eat & play games. We had a special presenter to us by our waitress. Thirty minutes of free play and appetizer lunch for $14.99. They never once told us that you can not collect tickets on the carpet. And there was a 32nd waiting period between each thing. My grandson did so, truly. We did not get 30 minutes. We got fifteen, and he was unable to exchange any tickets that he thought he was winning in the shop. I think when they are presenting this option. To include the 4 15 99 30 minute, unlimited gameplay and food that they need to specifically. Make sure you understand that you don't get tickets towards anything. I will never get that special ever again.My grandson was heartbroken.

It's a nice ' Base place' to go and get out, have a chicken salad or a glass of wine.
WE love to run over here to watch a game. Sitting on one's own sofa together is a joy when watching a game..yet it's fun to cheer with your community with the game...and have light foods.

Always under staffed. Over priced, service is slow. Ordered drinks and meal at the same time. Received our food, but had to wait an additional 10 minutes after receiving our food to get the 3 WATERS we ordered. Received food we didn't even order... chaos!!! Only reason we stayed was for the kids and games.
