Absolute horrible experience, I usually love this location but tonight's experience was not it. The 2 young men along with the adult they had working behind the counter need more people skills and how to work. The younger 2 kids were like deer in headlights and had no idea what was going on half the time, when I asked if I could use my online rewards they all didn't know how to redeem them in store so I wasted my points and couldn't use them! SO disappointed!!! Then to come out to my car and think I was going to enjoy my food, to bite into a big long piece of plastic wrap inside of my chopped brisket sandwhich?! Super disgusted with the sloppiness!

I had their burnt ends. It was so good!!!!! The staff was very kind.It was so good that after my husband got home later that day we went back for dinner.

Brisket was dry and flavorless. Beans were inedible. Two meat dinner plus a small drink and it came to over 26 bucks. For that much money I can eat superb brisket at Joe's.

In town from Florida for the holidays, and by chance found this gem of a place.
I’m used to Barbecue joints every mile in Tampa, the smell kind of turns the stomach.
But I wanted KC Barbecue, Dickey’s did not disappoint!!!
The Brisket Sandwich was excellent!
Mac and Cheese was just the right size to go with it!
The topper was the Chili Cheese Fries!!
I will definitely make this restaurant a staple for my travels!
The staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself is quite cozy!!!

Staff rude to delivery drivers.Food almost 10 minutes behind scheduled and store not even busy.Lastly it’s not even real bbq. Place needs to go back to

I had the best time today visiting Dickeys! Service was fast, friendly, and easy goin! Thank you, Dave and Laura!! Also, the 50 rose arrangement done by Dave was so beautiful!
How am I just now finding out about this place?I had the brisket sandwich and fries with a side of brisket chilli and man these guys here know how to do good brisket. The fries were cooked perfectly.Chilli was awesome. I look forward to trying more menu items.
This location is better than Jack Stack ever thought of being. They know how to slice brisket, which apparently they need to train Joe's on how to do as well. Granted, Q39 brisket is still better, but Q39 is god tier BBQ. The sides are as good if not better than all of the BBQ restaurants in the KC metro area. I will eat at Dickey's every chance I get.

Dickies Barbecue has been one of my favorite restaurants in Kansas...this day I visited this place with my family that brings back beautiful memories...it was one of the first barbecues I ate in Kansas, unfortunately several establishments have closed and this is one of the ones that It is still open...the food was delicious, the service was very friendly, the place was a little run down and if there was something that we loved it was the free ice cream cone that they gave to customers...today the machine was no longer working it was a shame. .but hey, this place is definitely an excellent place to try BBQ.
