The meat was a little dry for being birria but food had good flavor

The food is good for sure.
But twice had have given me the change bad.

Last time was short for $14 I told the guy how much is w card?
he doesn’t know.
But he said is extra which I get it make sense those fees.
Just doesn’t make sense order of $25 and $14 on taxes and fees?

Tasty Tacos! I make my own birria but because of the time consuming nature of the recipe I like to try birria from different places whenever I can. Don Rudy’s did not disappoint when we visited their food truck. Service was swift and efficient and VERY affordable! The food was scrumptious! We had queso birria tacos with a couple of carnitas tacos thrown in for good measure. All were hot, even after we traveled home 20 minutes , the meat was extremely flavorful and tender. I felt like I just got takeout from Grandmas! HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back!

Friend of mine shared their quesabirra tacos that were delivered.
The Birria is very flavorful, the green salsa has a great taste and the red has a solid smokey spice (I mixed the two). The filling and cheese of the tacos were generous and the price is incredibly reasonable.
I'd give pictures but we ate them before thinking about it.

The tacos are always amazing and I'm slightly addicted! The green sauce they give you for the tacos is amazing and I'm not talking a little bit amazing I'm talking a lotta bit amazing

I had the asada tacos with hot sauce and rice. They were delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection it was well seasoned and very juicy, not all dry and over seasoned like other asada meat. I highly recommend eating at don Ruby's.

It has potential… I’ve traveled all over searching for the best carne asada tacos. The corn tortillas were too chewy (almost tasted stale) and there were huge CHUNKS of fat in the carna asada street tacos. I had to pick out about half the meat because it was very fatty. The flavor was okay. The red salsa (hot) was delicious. The birria taco was flavorful, but full of grease. The best carne asada tacos I’ve had in KC were are at Rudy's Tenampa Taqueria in Westport. Fresh, lean, and so flavorful. Their tortillas are soft and melt in your mouth. This didn’t hit the spot. Maybe next time.
