Wonderful place, friendly staff and delicious food. The only thing I could complain about was the Ceviche, but really overall it was a great experience and I'm glad I decided to try it out.
If you can't read Spanish, find the menu and look up options before you go. The menu is only in Spanish. And it's a big menu. They do have pictures all over the walls so you can also go at it that way. They are a very nice family -owned / -friendly spot. I got a shrimp cocktail because how do you not when the name is El Camaroncito? It had enough shrimp for three people!It's bigger than it seems inside. Semi-accessible entrance. Parking is street parking.
Take out with a large shrimp cocktail and a torta each my husband and me. Clean and comfortable space, efficient and friendly service. I've eaten here before before the pandemic and always enjoyed my experience. I can recommend the shrimp cocktail as the best I've encountered in KC. Tons of shrimp, a great sauce with hotter sauce on the side to add to your liking. Give it a try. It's a great summer dish. The shrimp are fresh and delicate.
