The food is really good I really loved this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We really enjoyed the golden apple! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and it isn’t overly crowded. The staff was friendly and it was very clean inside. Will be driving from Overland Park to come here instead of other popular buffets out there ☺️
NOT RECOMMENDED!! Though the BUILDING/RESTAURANTS CLEANLINESS WAS ACCEPTABLE, the experience was LOUSY! At around 1pm on a Wednesday, it had VERY POOR SERVICE; AT $20-$30 for the LUNCH BUFFET: The staff spent their time OUTSIDE chain SMOKING & flirting with one another; holding the door open; allowing cold air to enter the building & never washing their hands after! The buffet is VERY SMALL, the FOOD is VERY BLAND, BARELY lukewarm & tasted OLD & kinda firm! A worker began playing an accordion; for like 5 minutes & it WASN’T an appealing tune. Our waitress NEVER came to ask if we needed refills on our drinks, nor to take away the used dishes! The ONLY time the waitress came to our table was to bring our check then she offered a fake smile, spoke English & stood at the table, seeking a tip! The bill is paid at the service counter, on your way out. My TIP was; IF WE RECEIVED DECENT SERVICE, A GOOD TIP WOULD’VE BEEN OFFERED!! Finally, I went to the bathroom, where a MALE WORKER WAS INSIDE THE FEMALE RESTROOM supposedly CLEANING YET, THERE WAS ALREADY SOMEONE USING THE RESTROOM, HE just kinda smiled & walked out; like I interrupted something! DON’T send your children in there alone!! NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!
It was reasonably priced and the food was great and the waitress waitress was super
Not worth it, it’s too expensive. They say the charge 15.99 for lunch, we had water, we were two and it was 48dlls. And the flavor is not good

I’m a certified big back individual. The service staff was very nice , cordial, and responsive. All of the food items I tried were kept hot n fresh. Sushi was decent as well , they were churning out rolls. Special they had was some rib eyes that was good as well. For the price and location , a solid deal

We dined at Golden Apple Buffet on Sunday Nov.24, 3-4pm. It was our first time there and we were celebrating my son’s girlfriend’s birthday. The place was busy but not packed, just right. Greeter was smiling, friendly and polite. I believe it’s the largest buffet selection I’ve ever seen! All hot, fresh and appealing. 3-4 shrimp selections, stuffed lobster, frog legs, and the complete gamete of traditional Chinese cuisine. Service was excellent. Can’t say enough good about this buffet type restaurant. Will return there soon.

I ordered with “Too good to go” and got a stuffed to go box for 6.99. This food at close is still absolutely amazing. Their sushi is great. Normal Chinese food buffets tend to have food that is rubbery and it all tastes the same. This is not that way at all. I will 1000% be ordering again.

I've been twice and it can be ok if there's noone there. I went tonight for my birthday and me being the human garbage disposal I am was unable to swallow food tonight and was unfortunately left with the age old dilemma of how to empty my mouth without being absolutely gross. The buffet is unorganized, little directions for customers, and extremely hard to navigate. Couldn't keep the buffet full and was not able to get many dishes I had hoped to. The wait staff were nice but just not prepared and very slow. Overall for the 80 dollars spent on 3 people could have spent better on take out.

There’s plenty of seating. The buffet needs to establish some sort of structure. Everyone unofficially lines up and goes down the buffet line. It can be a hassle. There wasn’t much of a selection for dishes. You would think more dishes would be offered. Sushi is available but there’s no hibachi. Crabs legs are available, but they are served cold!? Try at your own risk.

Overall, much better than most buffets. They make smaller batches, so it is fresh, and the staff is great if you need anything. Only one time we went, and they didn't bring drinks for a long time. I think there was a miscommunication about who had our table, but other than that it was always great.

mediocre food and unsanitary food stations, the dessert stations had other foods on the tongs and were super dirty, would not return.

Definitely not worth the price. $100 for 4 people. Could have done hibachi at a nice restaurant for that price. Chinese buffet isn't supposed to be that expensive

My husband and I went through the reviews and the majority of the newest ones were 4 and 5 star. I really wanted to like this buffet but it was disappointing. The iceberg lettuce was swimming in water which diluted the dressing. And there was only an Italian and ranch. There was a cucumber and tomato combo that was really good and there were green globe grapes that were delicious. The crab roll sushi was beyond fishy. I tried another kind and I nearly spit it out. I don't ever remember crab being just overwhelmingly fishy. It put me off but I was willing to try again and this time I got a pork egg roll, crab rangoon, chicken on a stick that reminded me of a strong BBQ rub.i normally LOVE hot and sour soup. The soup was piping hot and okay but the wonton strips that normally goes in where badly stale and ruined the soup too. At this point, I was just hoping that the dessert and fruit would save this experience. The chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were moist and it was decorated nicely with a good bit of icing and sprinkles. The pineapple was good but it had the core still in it. And the cut fruit and the cut cucumbers were so thickly cut, it was hard to eat. The service was good and the place is pretty clean. I can't recommend this buffet because the price was just too high for the disappointing food.
