What a cute little ice cream shoppe! My daughter and I popped over the border of Kansas City, MO, so we could say we made it to Kansas. This quaint spot reminds me of a 50s candy store. Packed full of old school candies and treats, Hey Sugar also had about 16 different flavors of ice cream, including Sweet Corn, which we had to try. I love the different variety of ice cream & how they switch up the flavors every once in a while. This trip I got the homemade vanilla and strawberry cheesecake. Both great options, ice cream stays cold for a significant amount of time, with a nice firm consistency. Not too soft, just the right amount of chewyness!
This is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever eaten! We loved the blackberry, lemon bar, pb cup and dairy free chocolate! And what a cute, inviting space. All around great place to visit!
