Please add your correct hours to Google.I drove all the way to KCK, to find you closed on Wednesday.
I've lived in hr neighborhood for 15 years. Decided to try hickory log today. Hands down the worst BBQ I've eve had. That says a lot for living in Kansas my whole life. Service was underwhelming. Prices are insane for how bad my food was. My rib tips looked like burned cat poop and were tougher than beef jerky. I will never be back.

Fall off the bone tender ribs. Very good, flavorful BBQ sauce. Onion pells were crispy and delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly. Definitely coming back.

Ordered first time through Doordash. I was disappointed that I did not get all the components of my order since I was looking forward to trying the Rib Tips and the coleslaw. The food was ok. The sides I got (beans and potato salad) were a bit too sweet for my personal taste but well made and fresh. The brisket sandwich seemed to be on the thin side and the fries had no salt or seasoning despite being advertised as seasoned fries. BBQ Sauce has a sweet tangy spice that is good! I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen. Not sure if I'll try again.

My husband and I stopped in there Saturday. Awesome barbecue, service was great. Everybody was very friendly. Our brisket was tender and not fatty and the sauce was just slightly spicy side but delicious.

An unassuming hidden gem with great food and great customer service.
The service was not that grate. My bbq meat was very dry. You have to check everything that you ordered because you may not have it. This was my first time trying this place and my last. I spent way to much money for food that was not worth the cost..

This place is great! The pulled pork needed NO sauce, and my wife said the potato salad was very good. The sauce isn't typical KC style, but still good. Onion petals, fries and baked beans were all good. We'll definitely be back!

First time customer. Ordered “large” brisket sandwich with 2 sides and a drink. Sandwich was served on a hamburger bun. Dry. No pickles ?. BBQ sauce was marginal. Needed something to compensate for the dry sandwich. Funkiest coleslaw I ever tasted. One bite. Seasoned fries were very good. Someone mastered the blend and amount. Very tasty.Final answer: will not return.

Had a door dash order, and my burnt ends were COLD. Refrigerator cold. They know they sold OLD BARBECUE. Shame on them, I wasted money. Sauce had a good taste.

Walked in and we were greeted with a friendly smile. I wasn’t hungry but my boyfriend wanted some BBQ. Today’s special was burnt ends. I ordered a lb. of smoked brisket because the smell was amazing in this place. I suddenly became hungry LOL!We ordered side dishes of baked beans and fries. Our meal came quickly to our table. The beans were on point, not sweet and not plain. The fries were crunchy and delicious. The burnt ends were spot on. My eyes were bigger than my stomach but I tried to eat 1/2 lb. of the brisket. I’m saving the other half for dinner tomorrow. We were given two types of BBQ sauce (hot/mild) and pickle spears. The waitress told us she had dessert if we were interested. I could see the Neapolitan cake on the counter. It was a beautiful cake. She sold us on the S’mores cake. The restaurants ambiance makes you want to come back have some drinks, great food, talk to the staff and owner. By the way, every other Wednesday they have Kareoke night 6-10 pm. I’m definitely coming back. Look if you’re not into meat that’s great but if you’re into dessert you have to try this place! The cake maker is listed on here too.Ps. We couldn’t wait to eat and that’s why some of the food is gone.
Parking: Plenty of free parking in the front, side, and rear of building.
Kid-friendliness: There’s coloring pages for the kiddos and kid friendly food. What kiddo doesn’t love fries!

2/10/2024First time customer ordered via Door Dash. The food arrived with safety seals. The brisket and fries taste good. The Rib tips seasoned well but a little tough. Overall good bbq priced well.
