It’s hit or miss. I’ve never been there for food, but I don’t trust hole in the wall places to keep up with food safety to begin with, and neither should you.The handful of times I’ve been has been okay, with prompt service, but it’s not someplace I’ve ever felt “at home” at.There’s always some clique, and at one time when the true crime thing was popular, I was turned into a spectacle for them. The bartender didn’t even acknowledge that sort of harassment, and I was only there for a quick drink. Then I started getting threatened, and nothing happened either.I’ve had good times there, and some bartenders will shut down political conversations immediately which is nice, but otherwise, this is your niche local bar with snobby alcoholics that have grown up here, and don’t want to know you unless you’re “one of them” or submit to their bullying. The bartenders are just trying to make money.I have to commend the bartenders with their heavy hands… just be sure to tip with a heavy hand as well, and you’ll be just fine if you can handle the morons that ruin the mood.

Long time customer but will never go back when "MARY" is bartender. Worst bartender I have ever encountered. I hadn't been there for 30 minutes.. 1 beer..before she blew up at me for mentioning I'd like a taco plate. After blowing up for no reason and calling me names.. I left.

We came in with a huge group (a dozen kids, a dozen adults) with no advance notice and they were absolutely amazing. Very accommodating and patient. Every order was correct and they have a game room for the kids to play darts and shuffleboard. We had cheeseburgers and they were fantastic. Highly recommend.

We took 12 soccer girls here after our game! What a great, friendly place! Amazing food and amazing service! Hidden gem! Chicken tenders, club sandwich, burger and quesadillas were on point!

We have been going to Johnny’s West for years. Everything on the menu is delicious! I usually get the Black and Bleu wrap but today I got the bbq chicken pizza for the first time. It was ridiculously good!Vegetarian options: Good options for our vegetarian family members.

2 stars is for the waitress. The taco meat, both beef and chicken was horrible. Not sure how the other food is but I don’t think I’m gonna be finding out. How can tacos not be good?!
