Food was exactly what you'd expect from a Jose peppers. Espinaca is always great!
The service was just BAD. When we arrived there was one other table seated. Took 5 minutes before someone seated us. Got our food in the normal time, but it took our waitress 32 minutes after we were done before we got our check... And that was with us hunting her down and asking for the check... She said "yes, I'll be right there with it!" And then we didn't see her for another 15 minutes. When she finally gave us the check it took her another 10 minutes to come collect it and then another 10 minutes to being our card back.
In total.... From the time we ordered to the time we were done eating was about 30 minutes but the time we were done eating to when we left was about 45 minutes (if not a bit longer)
It was a bit rough on the service times....

5 stars all because of our server. He was amazing non stop busting his Butt on a Friday night. Very polite, seated us fast took our order like a pro read it back to us ( mind you I have little ones with me, a party of 3 adults 3 kids). Kept checking on us, non stop refills, food came out fast and was delicious. He made our experience more enjoyable than the last few times we were there!!! I wish I would’ve caught his name. Very sweet kid though! 5/5 will return

Not busy. Long wait time on food. Everyone got sick from it. Youngest ordered Mac and cheese and got sick. Others had burritos and got sick. I had fajitas and got sick. Food was not good. First time there and we will NOT go back.

Went an hour before a planned birthday party to make sure our party of 9 could be seated. We were told that would be no problem. We told the hosts that we would just wait at the bar until everyone arrived. When everyone arrived a few minutes afterwards, the staff told us that another party had been seated at our table. This isn't the first time we had a poor experience at that location but it is the last time we will go there.

Food was ok. Mostly my problem was the bathroom floor was full of water. I got up from using it and my foot slipped and fell back on the toilet hurting my backside and my back. Told the waiter about the water on the floor and what happened. He said he would tell the manager. Never spoke to a manager and no one even bothered to see if I was ok. I'm not btw.

More food than you can handle but it's the best authentic taste of Mexican you can have. It was my first time and I'll definitely be back for more on my future trips. You can see the images for the portion sizes below and literally they stuff you. The masa if I'm saying it right was a great new try and it's like a sweet corn meal but it was fun.

I am a restaurant owner and refused to dine at Jose Peppers at the Legends for the past few years due to a dirty establishment with rude staff and inadequate service. For some reason after a few years my wife and I gave it another chance because we do love the food. We have now been there 4 times in that past two months and every experience was amazing! We have had GREAT service, friendly staff, and it was clean. THANK YOU to whoever was responsible for cleaning up and restaffing the Jose Peppers at the Legends. We will once again be regulars at this establishment!
