I showed up at 3:40pm on Saturday, their posted hours are until 8pm. They have a handwritten note closed at 4 no more orders. The gentleman that arrived at the same time as me and I were told no orders! Not “I’m sorry” or “we had an emergency” just no orders. The cars that showed up after me, the heavy set cashier in the red tshirt locked the door on them, again without an apology or explanation. I drive 40mins to try this place to be treated like garbage. I 100% support small businesses but they don’t deserve my support.
Just like old times food so good
For all u people sayin this place isn’t what it used to be like u also have to remember they had just opened they are packed all the way down Osage sometime it’s okay to make mistakes and for yall to sit here and talk down on this place ur probably still going to go to is pointless
My experience was awesome food is still great the onion rings are phenomenal. I live in Missouri in the Northland but will gladly make the drive to get the onion rings if nothing else. So happy you're back in business. Best of luck and gradually reopened. So happy!!!!!
Order the double cheeseburger basket two orders of extra onion rings and a large drink got it in 10 minutes everything tasted just as good as it did in the old days Great job
Pause Drive-In came back to Kansas City after 4 years$16 for a cheeseburger basket absolutely ridiculous the burgers are paper thin don't waste your time go to McDonald's to get a $5 McDouble meal
Food fair the young lady at the front 10 stars cause she was catching hell for the complaints about the wait but was cool as a cucumber my hats off to her. I waited about a hour for a single burger and burrito. The beautiful thing was seeing with my eyes the community of all people coming to support the business that above all was the blessing
The burgers are pretty mid to be honest, I mostly ate more bread than meat, honestly it was overpriced for what it was, I almost spent 50 dollars on 2 basic orders, if they lowered the price it would have made it more worth it but as it stands yikes 😬, I'd give it one more chance in a month or 2 hopefully things improve
I was soooo soooo sooooo ExCiTeD for Paul’s to be back! Everything was great until I saw the onion rings! $40 for 1 sided burnt onion rings- 🤦🏻♀️ I haven’t even got to the burger or mushrooms yet, hopefully I have better luck!
No excuses- it wasn’t even busy.
I have been going to this place for a very very long time. At least over 20 years. They have great hamburger baskets. Don’t be in a rush when you come here because it takes a while for you to get your food, but I think it’s worth the wait. The burgers are a lot better than McDonald’s and/or Burger King. If you haven’t given it a try, then please do so. You will not regret it.

The facility could use a face lift but the service was most excellent. The lady at the window was above and beyond. I bought the tenderloin for my wife as a piece of nostalgia. As a vegetarian I only had and onion ring and some fries. They were good, despite having to be reheated because my home is thirty minutes away.
Love their cheese burger baskets. When ever we go to the city we make sure to go here
Food is very good the only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are horrible when it comes to getting orders out in a timely manner I called my order in at 6:15pm they said it should take 20-30 mins which was fine I arrived at Paul's at 6:40pm and waited in my car until 6:50pm and my order was still not ready, but 2 other people came in and placed orders and they both got their food before I did I didn't get my family's and I food until 7:30pm I was not happy the only saving grace was that the young lady working told us that we didn't have to pay for our food because of the wait time which I usually never complain about having to pay, but the last 3 times my family and I have been to Paul's the wait time was so long even tho I would place the food orders over the phone hoping that I wouldn't have to wait to long once I got to Paul's, but recently it's been 45 minutes and sometimes longer and they're losing money cause I've gotten my food free and I know i can't be the only customer who got their food free of charge due to incompetence in the kitchen they really need address these needs asap they're way to go of an establishment to not have the food coming out in a timely manner I really hope they can get this fixed asap
Although wait has been lil bit much. And prices gone up. These people are tremendously great. Not just another worker type people. They thrive to make every one's meal delicious. I got back within time lady said didn't realize it was gonna be after closing time. They locked doors and all. But didn't send me away was sweetest lil gal. And guy super funny yet cutest couple ever. Y'all are great
This is a drive in spot. Each and every time that o have been here it is always crowded. You go on give your order then wait for your order. There is no dine in you just order and wait for you food then leave. If you don't want to wait you can call your order in. They have alot of the old school drive in good
